    No - no round-ups.

He's either 6 feet or he's not. his listed height is 6 feet. I'm betting that that's probably wrong.

NOPE. No bet. You are trying to trick me. You originally said 5'10. I said 6'0. I think you are trying to trick me because according to this site, Bush measured 5'11.5 at the combine and weighed 203lbs. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/profile.php?pyid=15653

My claim of 6'0 208 was WAY closer than yours (5'10, 185). What do I win?

Based on this link and my role as a fair arbiter, I would have to say that reggietodd is the winner here. Judgment for the defendant.

My 5-10 was a GUESS. I'm GUESSING because listed heights are always wrong. (I'm not dealing with weight because weight can fluctuate).

You're saying that his listed height is right. I'm saying it's wrong.

His listed height is 6-0. You just had that independently verified by John McClain.

Therefore you take 6-0 or you back down.

EDIT: I don't know where they got the number on that link, which I have never seen, becasue the NFL Combine hasn't even happened yet.

bigtexxx a fair arbiter? NNNNOOOO!! :D

In all seriousness, where do you think this sight got their information from? The guy probably looked around the internet for the numbers. I'm not saying they're wrong, but couldn't you have found a better sight than that. That sight looks like my 10 year old cousing put it together.

Kinda funny how they already have his height and weight from the combine and pro-day even though the combine is 2 weeks away and the USC pro-day hasn't happened either.

The odds of him being 6.000000000 are very small. I would never take such a bet. Sure he may be 5'11.5 or 5'11.9999999 and if so, I still lose the bet? No way, only a fool would take that bet.

On my drivers license, it says i'm 6'1, but I highly dout it. I'm probably about 6'0.5 if you want to be precise. In your terms of measuring height, rounding up doesn't count?

Are you an attorney? If not, you'd make a good one.

The best part about this quote is that i'm the "defendant". Couldn't be any more true.

I'm being "prosecuted" for what the USC media guide combined with what "reports out of chargers camp" are saying.

You're calculating the odds incorrectly. You win if he is at least 6 feet tall or over. I win if he is less than 6 feet tall. That is 50/50.

Um, if you're being prosecuted, then you are the defendant.

I highly doubt he's over 6'0 because history says that they usually round up when it comes to athletes height/weight. You and I even got into this argument when you mentioned 5'10, otherwise this bet would never have evolved into this. The bet I will take is that he's closer to 6'0 than he is to any other height using traditional round up/round down procedures used in basic math.

    5'11.4 will be 5'11
    5'11.5 will be 6'0
    6'0.2 will be 6'0
    etc...

Thats what i'm saying. I am the defendant. The way bigtexx called me the defendant was classic. Do you agree that i'm the one being prosecuted here?

So....now you're explaining to me that when sports teams list their players size, they often exaggerate to make them seem larger than they actually are...and that Reggie Bush is likely to be less than 6 feet tall?

I think my work is done here, now that you see things my way.

Rounding up a .5 to a whole number is not what I'd call exaggerating. I'm talking tenths of an inch here while you are talking 2 inches. 2 inches would be an exaggeration. Your work is not done.

    Are you an attorney?

Are you really equating rounding up to adding 2 inches to someone's height?

Nah. I don't know who's right in this argument, but you're definitely behind in style points. :p

Jesus H. Christ people - this is not that difficult.

Style or no style, I'm trying to be AS CLEAR AS POSSIBLE.

    6.0 = 6.0

    5.9999 < 6.0

    6.0001 > 6.0

Either Reggie Bush is OVER or UNDER 6 Feet tall.

if what Reggietodd belives is that Bush is UNDER 6 feet tall, then maybe he should go back and edit his previous posts where he swears up and down that Bush is 6-0 tall and say that he meant "SLIGHTLY UNDER 6 feet tall" - of course, then the listed height is wrong. , which basically moots his arguments about it being correct.

I don't give a f-k whether it's by rounding up or exaggeration - either the guy is 6 feet tall or he is not. Now reggietodd apparently agrees with me that the guy is less than 6 feet tall. I don't know what else there is to argue about. That he is not 5-11.5? I don't know if he is or isn't. If his listed height was 5-11 I'd guess that he was probably less than that. But it's not, it's 6 feet tall.

Now that you concede he's less than his listed height - there's nowhere else to go with this. Lock the thread.

No, he could be exactly 6.000000000000 feet tall.

they always round up the height of athletes except for vince young, they had to round his down. 8' 2" is just a little too intimidating.

    btw - reggie bush's true height is 5' 4".

Ok i'm currently winning. You just dropped an F-bomb, used the name "Jesus" in vain along with the phrase "Lock the thread". Also the ultimate Clutchfans.net bbs Judge (bigtexx) already ruled me the winner. Can I use the word "ownage" now? Or as The_Conquistidor would say:

    Exposed!
