Of course it's a possibility. Don't you think that if they knew 100% who they wanted they would have said it?

Personally, I think that they're purposely on the fence to laugh their asses off at some of the Young/Bush debates in this forum.

Absolutely not, especially since the draft is still 3 months away. As long as the Texans keep their decisions to themselves, anything is game. You keep all your options open til' the end.

I think he was serious. And he wasn't acting that way about Cutler/Young. He was acting that way because I called him out on him saying Reggie Bush is 5'10 185, when in reality he's 6'0 208 according to John Mcclain.

He couldn't take the ownage, didn't really know how to react so he called me a numbnuts and asked if I watched football and then said something about a media guide when I was talking about what John Mcclain said of Bush's size. lol ( I considered reporting his post as a personal attack, but the ownage i've given him so far in this thread will suffice)

I'd like to know the equation each media guide uses to round up heights and weights so we an figure out all college prospect sizes. I guess D'brick is really 6'3 270 since the media guide has him listed at 6'6 300. wtf? I've never even seen a Virginia media guide or USC media guide for that matter.

I think they know whether or not if they are keeping David Carr based on the things Kubiak, Casserly, and Mcnair have said combined with Carr's contract situation, the money they will owe him and how tough that contract would be to trade.

I don't think they know who they are going to draft yet though.

They said that at the Senior Bowl, only one player was actually taller and weighed more than what they were listed in college.

I'm going by what John Mcclain said, not what the college said.

What did he say about Dbrick's size?

My point is all media guides lie. I think this started in high school.

LOL, so you think John McClain has been standing next to Reggie Bush with a measuring tape. ..or was he using the listed height and weight?

But if you are this confident - put something on the line. I bet your signature from now until draft day that Bush doesn't come in at 6-0, 208 at the scouting combine if he is officially measured. he might bulk up his weight a bit - but you can't add height

And FYI, Dbrickashaw ferguson was NOT 6-6 300 like you claimed - he measured in at 6-5 297 - which is a fairly minor exaggeration in the scale of listed heights/weights. So we've established that you're wrong about that. We'll establish it again soon enough.

Accordingly - put your lack of knowledge on the line. If he is 6 feet or over, you can have my signature until draft day. You looked like a moron during the Rose Bowl - so I assume you don't mind doing it again. Please report this post if it offends you. (And try to avoid using the word "ownage" in your response as it generally is more reflective on the person using it........)

    On the Bush's height argument...

How can you watch him on TV and say, "No way that dude is 6 feet tall"?

I personally think he is 5'11.99999999999999999999999999999999999999".

Why is this so important? There is no doubting he is a talented player. I watched enough of his games in 2 years and still don't see why people mention that he doesn't have the power to be a between the block RB in tight quarters. He's got power and he'll get more power. I also think his spin moves are mad. One thing that impresses me is how he is able to avoid the big hit. Doing this alone will prolong your career.

You know, Warrick Dunn is only 5' 9". 180lbs. and he's a pretty good football player.

Cutler looked pretty good to me but what 330 lb. Offensive tackle is going to take him seriously when he opens his mouth and sounds like the Lucky Charms Elf. Did you hear that guy...maybe he'll sound a little lower when his testicles drop.

If that is who Reggie Bush is going to be - I'd pass for Young or a tackle or anybody else.

Warrick Dunn is a nice complementary player (much like Bush was to SC) but he was never able to carry a team.

Ok hotshot. So I along with all the sports books and all the people who bet on USC to win the Rose Bowl are morons. Texas scored in the final minute of the game to take the lead and Pete Carrol lost his brains for going for stupid 4th downs and not using his timeouts wisely, but we are morons for thinking USC would win the game. Thats the past, please quit bringing up old stuff. It isn't relavent to the argument at hand.

I'll take your bet. My "lack of knowledge" has nothing to do with how tall Reggie Bush is. How do you know any more than I do about how tall he is? Do you have more "knowledge" than I do about how tall a particular player is? I'm going by what his published height is and then by what John Mcclain said his height was. What are you going by? You call me a moron, but you are simply an idiot for making a bet based purely on assumptions, assuming you don't know Reggie Bush in person or have any inside information on how tall he actually is.

SamFisher evidentally knows something we don't and now he wants to bet me on it. Maybe he has some inside info.

What is your basis to assume that McClain isn't going off his listed height? Either he measured him himself or he's using the listed height. Which one is it, reggietodd?

What I am going on is my knowledge that listed heights ARE ALMOST ALWAYS WRONG insofar as they exaggerated to make players seem taller. This is not "inside info". This is what we call "common knowledge", "conventional wisdom", etc. - that you don't seem to posess, e.g., when you were wrong when you said Ferguson was 6-6, and then he measures at 6-5 and change.

I "guessed" on Ferguson's size, I never looked it up. I just used that "guess" to make a point. I wasn't being precise when I made that analogy.

Mcclain SAID "reports out of Chargers camp has Bush at 6'0 208". Evidentally he has been working out over there with LT. Mcclain didn't say he used the listed size, he said "reports". This report, combined with "Bush's listed" size at USC being 6'0, I WILL TAKE THE BET.

fine, if he's any fraction under 6-0 at an official 3rd party weigh-in/measuring - you lose.

Wait. You said he'd come in at 5'10 in your earlier post. Now you are changing it to a "fraction" under 6'0?

The bet is, if he comes in any lower than 5'11.5 then I lose. 5'11.5 you round up to 6'0. Fair enough?
