So we don't need another qb first? Sage > Carr does absolutely nothing for me.

If that's the case, then management is dumber than we all thought.

I can't believe that Juwon would forgive you for rooting for the Titans. :p

In truth, I'm not a Titans fan. Not even close. I just like to see VY do well. I like to see him win. The unhappy coincidence is that it means the Titans win, too.

If Juwon wants to eat, he'll forgive me! :) When Juwon considers his birthday party, he's pretty forgiving!

I want him to do well, just not win. And I'll always set a plate for Juwon. :)

yes, good point. i think it's john mclain who says his best guess is that carr will be traded or waived before the end of February. we'll see.

No Mike James = yes Bonzi Wells & V-Span.

Granetd, those haven't worked out great, but the point that there will be SOMEONE else is valid.

If I had my druthers (what the hell are 'druthers' anyway and why don't I have any?), I'd like to see us trade Carr, draft a QB in round 3 or 4, play Sage until the rookie is ready to give it a shot. All the while, build up the defense, so the offense (and QB) doesn't have to carry the team.

And Ric, before you reply, building up the defense doesn't mean I want to avoid the offense all together. We still need O-linemen and a stud RB. In other words, draft AP if he's still there at #8. :)

I'll let you have mine. My wife never lets me use them any way, and they are getting all atrophied.

I've always assumed it's short for "I'd rather".

'druther' is what happens when cockney Englishmen said 'I'd rather' too fast and too often a long time ago. It became a word unto itself in perhaps the 18th century?

I didn't think this was right so I consulted my friend Google. Now, the article may be wrong, but here is a source anyway: http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/194850.html.
