it never amazes me how any player who is struggling and hurt how quick the media, fans, and team can turn on them but when they are busting their asses off for the team and killing everyone is in love with that player smh. wow

Whatever you think of TMac, the original article doesn't even qualify as journalism, imo... It's just blogging tied to a newspaper.

Welcome to Jungle... a meat market where the player is used and tossed like trash.... it was more common in the NFL and now the NBA too.

Its just sad when you meet someone that is a pro-athlete now days. They have their 3-5 year of fame ... and when the fame, money and girls are gone....they are just like everyone else...in the Jungle again.

But, the funny thing about Fans they do tend to remember the champions.... :)

Tslack has put houston through hell for 3 years, and he thinks he can say this crap and will get any kind of pity.

Fact of the matter, only reason tmac has put this effort in offseason and wants to come back so bad is because he is in a contract year.

I don't mind seeing tmac rot on the bench, so no one will give him a good contract next year.

    Good riddance tmac.

Yea, thats what it comes down to.

These players are getting paid millions of dollars. If he busted his ass like kobe does day in and day out, everyone would love tmac whether or not we win. (Look at Yao's heart, everyone is ok with him being hurt because everyone KNOWS he wants to help the team).

Tmac is full of **** and excuses and that is all he will ever be full of.

I'd like to add though, if Tmac had ever led this team to a title, then we would also cut him however much slack he wants. Champions, get cut a break no matter what. That is how it goes.

But Tracy has scoring titles, scored 35 in 13 seconds, and carried the Rockets during the 22 games win streak.

Going to hope that's sarcasm here. Because even though he did do that, they were all individual and regular season accomplishments anyways.

You believe T-Mac has been busting his ass off for the Rockets? lol, how long have you been watching the Rockets? lol.

If i kicked you in the knee really hard would you be able to run and jump at full strength??. If you had nagging back pains would u be able to walk or run with that. You guys well some of you guys through a player under the bus because he is hurt. This is not a video game. What you do in the video games with a guy is not goin to happen n real life. McGrady probably had about 2 bad seasons with the Rockets n now guys are ****ting on him.

I don't think you realize this. Even if T-Mac is fully healthy, he still won't bust his ass off. I really don't know what game you are watching, but I don't think they are Rocket games, if you are, you might want to pay attention to the screen. Tracy stopped hustling, playing defense and crashing the boards a long time ago, not just because of the injuries. I would say it started in 2004, when the Magic had their 19 game losing streak.

Exactly, so expecting him to come back from Microfracture Surgery and play like he has in past years is pretty comical.

Unless youre talking about 08-09 mcgrady, then yeah, he could definitely play like that.

Real smart of you to blame one guys performance when its a team effort. What happened to the other 14 guys?? what did they do??

Lets see. 13 points n 33 seconds. Hmmmm boy McGrady didn't hustle or nothing right. Yeah your right he doesn't hustle.

Lets see. McGrady's numbers in the playoffs right. Hmmmm boy he turns it on everynight when games really matter. But never had the luck of gettin out of the 1st round when he is playing. Yeah your right.

When RA first started this job with the Rockets I could have sworn I've seen McGrady cutting and coming off screens. Even having an offensive rebound. Hmmmm yeah he doesn't hustle.

Im not really expecting nothing. To me its I'll believe it when I see it but the only thing im excited is about is that he trained with Tim Grover. Guys that have trained with him has had success in coming back from season ending injuries.

I think some people have decided that T-Mac is the basketball 'devil' and in a revisionist history has done no good for the Rockets. (In fact, I think he was the cause for the swine flu also).

I hope he has a sucessful rest of his career whether he plays for us after this season or not.

Nice regular season accomplishment you listed there. But It's cool if you praise T-Mac, I mean, He can dunk right? He can put the ball in the basket? It cancels out the fact that he doesn't play defense, isn't a man to crash the boards. But It's Cool, that he also throws his team under the bus as well.

Those are things you want in a player right?
When Hakeem was in Houston, We won championships. I hope he can comeback to the league soon.

Still clinging on to hope eh.

His days are numbered as a Rocket. Pretty much a goner. Mark my word.

Well lets see considering McGrady isn't playing this Rocket team isn't sooo good at defense if you wanna be technical. I mean aren't we the worst defensive team out there. IDK how good SI.com is for giving their stats but giving up 100.6 ppg isn't good. And these are the guys that hustle right

The fact is if Tracy were playing we would be worst on defense.
