    Obviously you don't.

It's unbelievable. I've never seen people so nasty toward a superstar who was playing really well before an injury. Never seen fans turn against a player who is so good and is honestly trying.

We should be counting our lucky stars we have T-mac on the roster, yet people here seem to bash him any way they can. Any quote he makes is turned into something negative.

I've noticed it coming more from Chinese fans too - what is up with that?

Guys, what's wrong with letting him rest and holding judgement? Why must people jump to any conclusion other than he's injured and has been playing injured. Saying he's fragile is one thing - but man, this stuff is ridiculous.

Saying he's just going to come back for the All-Star game as his first game back??? Are you guys really thinking that? Is that how twisted your view of him has become? Please....that's just crazy hatred at this point.

Yao broke his leg last season. Big difference from a bone bruise.

And is anyone else getting tired of Keith Jones having to come behind Tmac and straighten things out with the media?

Tmac regarding his elbow injury: "It's a torn ligament"
Keith Jones: "No. It's just sprain:

Tmac regarding his bone bruise (pre MRI): I think it is really serious but I won't get an MRI because the team needs me.
Keith Jones: The doctors say there is no need for an MRI because it is just a bruise.

Tmac regarding his bone bruise (post MRI): It's the same. It's going to be weeks. I have no strength in my leg.
Keith Jones: He is making progress. He is regaining strength in his leg.

What BS,,, I am not saying he isn't in some kind of pain but we are talking about a bruise here. There is nothing seriously wrong with him and he is already saying it is at least 3 weeks away. He is not a Doctor and the doctors are saying there is no structural damage and it is day to day. But not TMac he has proclaimed it is much more serious and he has no strength and it is at least 3 weeks. How can you argue against one mans pain. Yeah he was in a lot of pain so much that he was all smiles in that interview on TNT at Denver. There is something else going on here.

Perhaps he is just playing it smart. With Magic and others suggesting trades (read link Ben Wallace On The Trade Block ] Ben Wallace On the Block[/URL] )he is obviously aware the possibility is out there. Tmac doesn't want to go anywhere. And is doing the one thing that could most insure that by declaring he is damaged goods. Watch him get a miraculous cure after the trade deadline.

That Gordon and Wallace for Tmac is looking better everyday.

I'm just sick and tired of this BS, this year is pretty much 2005-2006, maybe we won't blow it in the draft this time.

I agree. It's always something with this guy. It's terrifying how he's got the organization by the balls. We're completely at the mercy of this flake.

well think about it - there is going to be some crazy frustration as this story spreads. We basically have to maintain .500 ball while hes out to even have a shot at the playoffs And the west only looks tougher this year. Last 2 games provide hope..Some would interpret this as the season is lost based on our record without him.

Tmac, its time for you to learn something from Yao. Get all the tapes you can get and learn RA's system. Watch, watch again, and again, see how your teammates plays and figure out the best way to fit yourself in. Come back stronger and smarter n 2 weeks.

depending on how you view life (half empty or half full) this can either be the best or worst time for tmac to go down.

there is an easy schedule coming up. this was supposed to be the time the rockets got rolling. instead we might only be able to float around .500. on the other hand, at least there will be a number of winnable games while he's out.

    Mon 31 vs Golden State
    Wed 02 @ Boston
    Fri 04 @ Orlando
    Sat 05 vs New York
    Tue 08 @ Washington
    Wed 09 @ New York
    Fri 11 vs Minnesota
    Sun 13 vs New Orleans
    Tue 15 vs Philadelphia
    Sat 19 vs San Antonio
    Mon 21 vs Seattle

with tmac i was hoping for 8-3. now i'm hoping for 5-6.

I cant help but think something is going on...cuz the puzzle just doesnt fit.

From them not feeling an MRI is neccessary to now him out close to a month. I say a month because rockets had a week break when he re-aggravated the injury vs detroit + the three weeks. Couple that with no sign of him on the bench on a home-game and the inconsistency between keith jones and tracy, and something reeks. The organization is prob doing the responsible thing and keeping the dirty laundry in-house.

We should be able to win games with or without TMac just like the Spurs
without Tim or Ginobili. It's a good time to see who can pick up the slack
and the scoring threat when TMac is out. When he is back, we should then
dominate our opponents. This is a great opportunity to see what we are made of (steel or rubber). He is hurt anyway, we definitely do want him to risk
ending his season by coming back to play without full recovery. ANyway, he came back playing early without fully recovered, he may not be contributing
and may infact cause us to lose.

it's best news for Rocket and Yao. With him " all one me" , we are not a true contender. Without him, It's interesting to see how far we can go. GO Rockets.

With NO playmakers outside of McGrady all we can do is pray that we have a good night shooting the three in order to win.
