It doesn't matter if Scottie Pippen did squat (even if that isn't true), the fact of the matter is that every player needs to have at least one decent teammate to win.
lately t mac has been shooting the ball pretty good he does not have to do all the scoring he used to yao has a better % so yao needs to get more touches and looks at the basket than t mac when kobe and shaq did play together the offense ran through shaq so i really think we will be ok in the end
Pippen sucked for us, but he was the best player on a Bulls team WITHOUT Jordan that took the Knicks to game 7 in the 95 (eastern) Conference Finals. That's as far as Garnett has gotten. And I third or fourth or whatever that motion- no KG to LA or ANY Western Conference team. Besides us.
I concur no KG to LA that was be disgusting and I think alot of teams can offer better packages than Lamar + filler. I think if the Wolves traded KG he would go east who would want to make a Western rival any stronger? Wolves trade KG they go into straight rebuilding mode, trade away all your big contracts for high draft picks, keep young talent, cut salary. Funny thing is you dont have to be a good team in the east to get into the playoffs and once your in anything can happen right? I think anything that weakens the West and strengthens the East is a good thing. I hope he goes to the Knicks for Marbury + Lee! LOL PG - SF3 SG - JCrawford SF - QRich PF - KG C - Curry I think he turns that franchise around with his attitude and gets them into the playoffs plus Stevie needs a big man. J
It was 1994, and the Bulls reached the second round before the Knicks elminated them. The Knicks faced the Pacers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Jordan returned in '95, and the Bulls lost to the Magic in the second round that season.
I heard the quote for t-mac on the radio and I wanted to start a thread but I didn't want to get into with others so I avoided. my bigger problem is regardless of it being a burden or not, or if he's whining or not, he is very well compensated for carrying that burden. no one understands what you're going through t-mac, you're right, we also don't understand what its like to make $15MM a year playing a game we love.
That's not true. If Minnesota were to trade KG, they'd do so in order to go into rebuild mode. They'd likely want young talent + picks in exchange. I think Garnett's hometown Bulls are in a better position to offer that than anyone in the league. They have a half a dozen coveted young players and the Knicks draft pick this year. I also think Utah could put together a very appealing package, but I'd hate to see that happen. Perhaps Portland too.
I'd love to see this happen, but considering that acquiring Marbury wouldn't really change their financial situation at all and the fact that the Knicks have the Bulls pick instead of their own this year, it isn't likely to happen. Of course, the Bulls pick might just be considered valuable at the moment. Their record isn't so good, despite the fact they have a really solid young team.
I agree with you, but he's not really whining to be fair to him. I think McGrady is just very honest and is more than willing to 'pour out' his feelings and intimate thoughts to you; he's just too nice a person and I think he's just built like that (psychologically, that is). It's part of him, it's what he is, it's what makes him more than happy to defer to a guy like Yao and be happy as hell when his team wins, and not as content when he's putting up personal numbers and yet stuck on a bad team. That's just the McGrady package, as with any other player, you take the good with the bad. One thing you can never take away from him is that he wants to win, and is willing to sacrifice whatever perceived 'personal glory' for it. As we see far too often in the NBA, that's not usually the case.
