I guess we will have to watch it in delay. And stay away from the computer and the TV until the game. Damn the super information age.

I don't blame you. But I've been a diehard Browns/Cavs fan all my life, and this is the first time a Cleveland team gets special TV treatment. So I'm enjoying it while I can!

DD, they scheduled it at that time because they are going on a road trip. They wanted to leave Orlando as early as possible. It's as simple as that.

These teams don't schedule game times to hope to get on ABC. If ABC wants a game THEY dictate to the team to start at a certain time.

I wonder if the league schedule the game as a possible alternate incase the other one sucked (for ex. if all the stars got injured).

LOL, Maybe this is part of those Throwback Nights they have every year?? This time they take it to the extreme. But on a serious note, I bet the Magic planned this so fans can't see T-Mac light up and embarass his former team. They probably don't want people to be reminded on how bad they messed up when they traded T-Mac

I know, this sucks, but what can you do? Tell ABC/ESPN that we'll refuse to watch all future NBA games broadcast in HD? ;)

It's not like this is a new concept - I have been dealing with this r****ded stupid practice for years, but especially since the wonderful Houston Texans came into being. Yes, I am not ashamed to admit it, I was born and raised a Cowboys fan, and nothing pisses me off more than to have a game blacked out for no other reason than because the Texans owner does not want anyone watching any football on certain Sundays other than the piece of crap Texans. What, do they think I am going to just switch over and watch the Houston offense struggle to generate 100 yards of offense while yet again having a suck season? Do they think that I am just some kind of football-watching robot, and I will watch whatever game happens to be on? Do they think that pissing me off is going to do anything other than make me hate that capers-and-casserly-created monstrosity even more that I already do? Do they think I will actually stoop to attend one of their games?

r****ded is exactly the right word for this sort of shenanigans. I feel the pain of every Rox fan who wants to watch the game but can't because some suit somewhere wants to dictate to you what you watch.

That said, the tape-delay doesn't bother me that much, I often watch the games later on TIVO anyway. Maybe someone will be kind enough to convert and upload a stream of the whole game after the tape-delayed broadcast. Heck, I could create a file for everyone, I just don't have any way to serve it. If someone has an FTP site or something where they could receive the file and then serve it to those few who still want it, some 8 hours or so after the game is over, I would be happy to do it.. would be satisfying to stick a thumb in the network's eye, for sure..

Im freaking tired of seeing Chicago, Cleveland, and the Heat on NAT TV. Its so ****ing boring watching Cleveland play especially.

And why does ABC want to show the Heat when they don't have Wade.

It's not even exciting anymore to watch Lebron play.
You get one dunk, maybe two and the rest it's just him jacking up shots, he doesn't even pass like he use to
