So... does this mean he's actually just moving to a BIGGER HOUSE in HOUSTON?

Casserly's top picks have been right on the money. It's the second round on where he screws up.

Don't be too sure (Joppru over Whitten, Seth Wand in the 3rd, Buchanon, Babin...).

Have the Texans ever made a pick outside of the Top Ten?

I was for trading down, but if its Casserly making those picks, I hope they just keep Bush.

    What a letdown.

Exactly. But, neither of them deserve to stay. I know it always comes down to money, but how the **** do you justify letting loose Jamie Sharper and Aaron Glenn and replacing them with less talent...and hardly even addressing the offensive line.

This better not be true.

    Last year.

Casserly is a joke, and I can't believe he is staying. We might as well just forfeit our 2nd and 3rd round picks this year.

I'm gonna raise hell if he trades the #1. I know we can get a lot for it but -- the fans have spoken. We want Reggie.

If its not the talent then how about these gems:
    Bennie Jopporu
    Dave Ragone
    Jason Babin

    and for kicks

    Phillip Buchanon.

Just say 'No' to pig nose. I can't believe they are going to keep that ass clown around.... Jeeze!

Casserly is too much on the hot seat to take a chance on anyone other than Bush.

Imagine if he traded Bush for multiple picks and used them on Jason Babin, Jabar Gaffney, Benny Joppru, Travis Johnson and Tony Hollings.

That's 5 picks in the top 2 rounds.

No way he's stupid enough to risk Reggie Bush lighting the league on fire for some other team.

Talk about sh*t rolling downhill!!! Wow...this is a disaster if its true. Has this guy added one good player outside of Dunta Robinson during his tenure?

Texans ae in a tough spot....Reggie will help them....but its not like he is going to make them a playoff team next year. It seems like Casserly's 5 year plan has been set back 3 or 4 years due to, what seems to be, his incompetence.

He must have some good pictures of McNair...probably the same ones Purp has of Drayton :p

We better stay at #1 now that Cass is holding the Texans nuclear football.
I guess this also puts us one step closer to a Kubiak-type coach, since we won't get anyone who wants to control personnel in addition to coach.

Casserly is the ONLY person I'm afraid that we might not get BUSH! Now that we got the #1 pick is there anyway the FANS can make sure they draft BUSH?

I can see fans not showing up next yr , or cancelling season tickets if we dont draft BUSH!

I can see it now. Charlie Casserly trades down out of the 1st pick and selects LENDALE WHITE. Casserly will say that White has better pro talent then Bush and the potential to pick him up plus an additional 4th round pick was well worth it.

Jopru isn't Casserly's fault. Ragone is a 3rd stringer and Babin has shown some potential, recently.

Buchanon just didn't pan out. It's too bad Casserly didn't do a little more homework. He's certainly at fault on this one.

    Don't forget

    Fred Weary 3rd round
    Charles Hill 3rd round
    Seth Wand 3rd round
    Tony Hollings 2nd round

The only plus selection that Casserly has had in either the 2nd or 3rd round over his tenure has been Chester Pitts. Sad.

Jopporu is just bad luck, but if he's healthy, i can see him as a starter possibly in our system....

Ragone just hasn't had a chance, give him a break, he did win NFL Europe MVP...and should be there again this yr....

Babin....is still up in the air....he showed some flashes today....but we'll have to wait til next season to see how he turns out...

I would keep Capors over Casserly, but I think they should both go. They had the money and the high draft choices; a screw up like this deserves accountability. Dan Reeves knows talent, though, he probably had something to do with the owners decision.
