I personally don't like that he is playing in the olympics. But oh well.

Shut who up? Do you honestly believe that Les Alexander, Daryl Morey and Rick Adelman are thrilled that Yao is playing in the Olympics while not completely recovered just because Feigen's blog say so? Give me a break!

Thrilled or not, who cares? Yao will play the Olympics anyway. And the fans that are angry now will forget their angry soon after the Olympics.

Where do you get the information that Yao is not fully recovered from that operation?

I read something a while back (in the Chronicle?) that his bones won't be fully healed for several more months.

Lets just say if I had to choose between Feigen and the naysayers, I'd go with Feigen any day of the week. Enough said.

    What does that even mean?

Naysayers about what? That we don't want Yao playing in the olympics? I'm not from China. Why is that so weird?

This is not the CNT board. I'm sure there is one. Go post that on it.

i don't know but A3po doen't believe the chronicle when it comes to Yao at the olympics but then he states the chronicle as his source about Yaos health......what does he believe....I believe Yao will play more games than Tracy this year....IMO.

I also as an American believe that people who say we should bomb other countries such as China are cowards that I would send to IRAQ and leave them there when we left.

This isn't a "boyz in da hood" board either mlwoo....but they still allow you to post your nonsense here....Yao is one of the biggest figures in the world... we are lucky to have him and all of his fans......playahatas.com.....sounds more like your kind of site....why don't you go check it out......

When he says he's 60-70% back...he means conditioning wise. Let's leave Yao's health up to the medical professionals and not to sideline comentators.

They're happy for him as a person, but they remember Gasol's foot injury and other guys that come back sluggish and get injured. They worry about Yao because he's had 2 season ending injuries and missed 34 games in the other in the last 3 yrs. Like one guy said, it will be over quick.

It's fools like you who keep trying to polarize this board and divide the posters into two different camps. Yeah right. whoever think Yao should play in the Olympics are from China. Are you dumb? I have read before that a lot of old-times on this board (those registered before 2002) also support Yao to play in the Olympics. Some of them might want Yao not to play the less important tournaments. But they are very supportive to Yao's desire to participate in the Olympics. Are these posters from China too? Why do you keep trying to stir up conflict in this forum? I don't get it. Does it help to make you think you are more important as a human being than you really are?

Yes he needs to recover and that does pose as concern, but honestly though take a look at our boys playing for team USA. Dwade, Kobe, Lebron and the gang have been playing in these tournaments the last two or so years and then come back and play the whole nba season. The man is out there representing his own country. The Rox should be proud of this guy.
Heck, I wish one of our boys was playing for Team USA too. I'd love to see Mcgrady on that lineup instead of Carmelo Anthony.
