what I meant by harsh is.. if van gundy knows the situation and it was some serious mental health problem or something I doubt he'd make those comments...

it must be something that he doesnt consider excusable at all.. reasons for him missing practice

those are along the lines of what id expect him to say. i just was surprised it was quite that blunt. i'd have expected we are very concerned but cant really do anything about it.. not im more concerned with denver than eddie

I guess if he knows the situation and is more concerned with denver than maybe its not some serious health thing and griffin is just being a knucklehead...

    oh go rockets!

    no edit.

but once again I really have no problem with him being harsh, I was just saying he was being harsher than i'd expected him to and since he knows more than us that might tell us something about the situation....

if eddie is just being a knucklehead then I'm all for him being harsh

I think JVG has bent over for Eddie all he is going to by organizing a private workout to give him an opportunity to redeem himself. Eddie spit in his face by not coming. JVG is all about one thing, winning. Trying to be the guidence couseller in EG's soap opera life (or Cops I'm not sure which) has nothing to do with winning.

Eddie may not be accepting any help. I find it very hard to believe that this guy has not been offered help repeatedly by his teamates and the Rockets. You have to accept help.

This is my opinion: Eddie does have a drug problem and has people in his life that he considers friends that also use drugs. Anybody that would try to help is going to demand that these parts of his life end imediately. Eddie knows this so he trys to handle things himself and refuses any help. Eddie has to admit he can't fix his life by himself and get some help, but his life may have to get much worse before this happens. I hope I'm wrong for Eddie's sake. But I have been around and a part of this kind of situation and until you turn your back on it you will never get your life straight.
