[Chron] Rockets would have signed Harris if Landry out longer

    I just created a new topic that might answer all these questions and more. The short version: he has been playing 4, but his skill set allows him to play PF too. His 3 point shot has improved drastically the last few years (24 percent 2 years ago in china, 33 percent last year, 35 percent now), so he's obviously been working on it. The 33 percent last year is a statistically significant sample--he likely shouldn't drop much below that.

    His jump shot is solid. Obviously not as smooth as Buddingers, nor as quick, but he brings energy and physicality that buddinger can't compete with. I don't think he's a buddinger replacement at all, i just think he can play valuable minutes at both forward spots on a situational basis, and would be nice to have as a contingency plan if someone gets injured/in foul trouble/is having an off night.
