first of all im mad, we needed batum, if he was going to be the next rudy then we definately needed that to let tmac have a breather and someone that could penetrate. Dorsey, comeone we have landry for that. we need a backup center wtf is going on?

Would it be a wild guess to think that you don't like the pick?

Wow, this is great news! I was wondering how Batum was going to fit. I seriously didn't think he would play much this season, if it all. Greene is a sleeper. I think he has tremendous upside and he brings a lot to the table. The Rockets also getting Dorsey--another great move. He's undersized but he was a beast.

Dorsey is just an upgrade over Hayes( Our third string PF)

Greene is a guy that will get minutes but how many minutes
    depressing!

Just being honest. I watched him at Memphis. Never one time did I see any kind of bball intelligence out there, especially defensively. Dorsey's entire game is physicality. I think he is a foul machine in the NBA. Be good for hackashaq I guess.

I would have thought we would have taken CDR, or Bill Walker, or Malik Hairston instead of Dorsey.

Dorsey is one of those players you HATE when he's not on your team! I think he'll bring a nastiness to our team we could use.

    And most importantly.

Hey Carlos Boozer meet Joey Dorsey. He'll treat you real nice! :D

I love how all these other Media Outlets still think Arthur is on the Rockets.

Dorsey is not as good as Hayes. Mark it down. We may trade Hayes and use Dorsey to come in and provide some muscle in the paint for a few minutes. But Dorsey is not Hayes. Hayes has a sensational bball iq to go along with a very low center of gravity and a pair of the quickest, strongest hands in the NBA. Dorsey..............well, Dorsey.......he's just a big ball of muscle that throws his weight around. There's no comparison.

    I saw the same thing...

27 New Orleans (Traded to Houston from Portland) Darrell Arthur 6-9 216 PF Kansas
The Blazers have agreed to trade Arthur and the 33rd pick to the Rockets. When the Rockets drafted Batum, I questioned it. He measured out terribly statistically under John Hollinger's formula and the Rockets are stat geniuses. Lo and behold, they swap the pick for Arthur, whom Hollinger listed as the fifth-best prospect. Yes, teams were worried about a kidney issue. But I've talked to two teams, and I'm told it's not a big deal. He has a chance to be an Antawn Jamison-type player.

3 (33) Portland (from Memphis) Joey Dorsey 6-7 265 PF Memphis
The Blazers have agreed to send the rights to Dorsey to the Rockets. Dorsey is a Ben Wallace clone -- a tough, physical rebounder and an explosive leaper and dunker. He's not a great offensive player and he can be inconsistent in his effort, but Dorsey is a good value pick here. The Rockets needed more toughness.

    That would be a dream!

    Question:

Would you rather have Darrel Arthur & CDR or Dorsey & Greene?

My guess is both options were available to rockets, but opted to include Memphis to get Greene.
