[Chron] Rockets To Pick Up Option On Head's Fourth Season

We have such a deep team this year! I can't wait too see what the rox can do. If Adelman can get this team to gel we're going to the ship.

 

James and Francis are no spring chickens, and the latter is coming off two injury plaugued seasons. Luther also shot a lot better than either from 3 land the last 2 years. So while I wouldn't be surprised if Luther really is reduced if not cut out of the rotation for now because Francis and James should be able to come close to his off the ball 3 shooting, plus a lot more dimensions to their game, but there are lots of seasons (many more medium to long term) why it is real nice to have him.

Also, Luther is > and much more of an asset than Snyder. I would easily wager Luther gets more PT than Snyder if they both are on the opening roster.

Finally, I think Luther is a BYC player now (take back around 1.3 mil, outgoing has to accept about 1.7 mil). It makes trading him a lot more difficult. He will have to be combined with other players or traded to a team under the cap or a large enough other exemption (disabled player, trade).
