Yeah I had him in my mind. When I was around 13 we had him on the Rockets and I remember Bill Worrell saying that he had the highest rebound per 48 min average in the entire league or something

We need to sign Clifford Robinson! He played for Rick Adelman before and is TOTALLY 80Z!

    Ha-Seung Jin? Anyone?

Then the boards can be flooded with Chinese AND Koreans.

If we sign him, our center rotation's avg age will be significantly younger (-10 years). I think it will make us look mighty good. ;)

I'm not suggesting the Rockets should take a look at Jackie Butler but whatever happened to him? $7 million for around 2 hours of basketball. That was a pretty sweet deal for him.

Apparently his agent said that he wasn't ready to play in the NBA this season. Probably horribly out of shape.

Why don't we let the basketball experts judge by what they see in the workout. The article didn't say that were going to do "Eeenie Meenie Miny Mo" to see if they would sign him.

This is simply a possible verteran pickup for a post-season run (see Sam Cassel and Celtics).

While we're at it, we can get Kal Penn as well.

The team would be off... to White Castle.

Considering we had Mutombo during this 22 game winning streak, Charles Jones during the title years and Eddie Johnson and Sedale Threatt during the WCF I don't know if you can say that anyone is "to old". I'd take Dale Davis in a heartbeat!

I wish we had a young Uncle Cliffy,he was a terrific defender and could score too. His lack of rebounding could be compensated by his athletic defense.

Davis is six fouls and possibly the benefit of getting veteran calls by a guy with a rep of being a good defender (10 years ago). He isn't going to bring anything beyond that to this team but when you are facing Duncan and Shaq that might be more valuable than it sounds.

I'm not hip to how many spots we have on the roster but if we can bring in Davis and keep Harris I am all for it.

I always liked Dale Davis, I recall him being an excellent interior defender, and much better than Deke on offense. He is not really that old. Isn't he about the same age as Kidd? He always seemed to keep himself in great shape. I bet they sign him. Too bad about Williams and Green; I thought they were really good young prospects.

At this rate, we would end up getting back the old Rockets for a reunion, like Stanley Roberts, Antione Carr, and Thomas Hamilton. All big bodies to throw fouls around.

I always thought I could have made it, but I never got a try-out. ;)
