What a great game...glad I was there and can't remember the last time we experienced a game like this one...the crowd was electric especially during the opening 12-0 run on the mavs. My wife and I were sitting next to some fellow clutch Fans and we were having a damn party man! Way to go Rocks and now you have to take care of business against a young team tonight that will be hungry to make a statement against you while trying to go 3-0.

Write it down...tonight Mac will shine as will Yao (again) and I think they are going to set the tone with D again. Skip was incredible last night with 14, 8 boards, 12 dimes and 4 steals! JVG coached better, controlled his supstitutions...you have a bench this deep and you have to play 10 men night in a night out. I was glad to see J Ho get some minutes...he's going to be needed this year (regardless how members here feel)...I like what he can do for the team when we go to a smaller lineup...because we can still score from the 5 position.

    finish reading the sentence...

The Rockets got a spectacular all-around game from point guard Rafer Alston who not only had 14 points and 12 rebounds, but added four steals, didn't commit a turnover, and helped hold long-time Rockets killer Jason Terry to an 0 for 5, one-point shooting night.

    oh and Go Rockets

Maybe he was still shaking from joy after a big win.

You guys are funny...The first Basketball game since Katrina should be pretty electric...They are suppose to be showing it on FSN in Dallas...

What's great about this game is that T-mac and Bonzi scored a combined 10 points and yet the Rockets won by 30.

Imagine what's going to happen when these two get thier groove on.

It's great to see Yao picking up where he left off and showing us that last season wasn't a fluke. He's playing like an MVP right now - I never thought I'd ever write that.

I love the adjustments JVG made from the fisrt to the second game - anyone who says he sucks doesn't understand basketball.

But he had 12 assists, not rebounds.

TMac will be BACK to his normal within one week.

    In TMac I trust.

well there you go...i thought it was a jab at the writers grammar, which i admit was pretty poor in the rest of the first draft...

i just realized I like to argue for arguing sake... for that, i apologize...

that being said, the Hornets went 1-2 in their three games in New Orleans last year...

wow enjoyed the fact that t-mac was not a factor in this game and we still blew them out 30+pts. our bench was awesome.
