Let's not forget how young Brooks is. He's still developing. Rockets fans on this BBS have a tendency to view all players as fully matured/having peaked/hit their ceiling and therefore want to trade for someone who is better NOW. The team has young players, and part of its success going forward will be those players improving, not just trades and acquisitions.

    fully agree my friend...
AB's only in his first FULL YEAR as a FULL-TIME starter. Give him another year and he'll be looking at all-star caliber type numbers. I wouldnt be surprised if he's named an all-star by next year...

Amen brother, it boggles the mind that people don't give the guy credit for such a meteoric rise in about 60 games started.

I mean he is about 20 times better than Rafer in only 60 games....how much better is he going to get?

I think he is the best and most important player on the team right now.

I don't know about that, but even some of his harshest critics have acknowledged that he has made improvements in areas of his game that they didn't think he could(distributing). I think we will see more improvement from now to the end of the season. He will probably get all star mention, like now you hear Westbrook and a few others to go along with Paul, Parker, Williams, and Nash. Brooks may be on that outside looking in circle next year. He would have to have some major leaps to get any closer than that to an all-star game. But hey, improvement is good and only helps the Rockets get better.
