I don't think anyone is claiming that this is WHY people aren't coming to games, just that the experience sucks WHEN people actually get there. I just went to the Jazz game the other night and I have to agree with most people, the announcer just plain sucks. He simply does not have the voice for the job and must be replaced as soon as possible. The new intro, while certainly better than the drummers, still lacks any sort of enthusiasm from the crowd. It needs further improvement, and probably a new song. I don't know what else needs to happen to liven the experience (how bout the team actually playing exciting basketball), but there should be changes.

People shouldn't be criticized for saying that the announcer sucks or that the intro sucks; they are simply trying to provide feedback to the organization on the changes they have made since last year. Everyone just wants a fun and memorable experience, that's all.
