Why not give T-mac to Lakers as a filler to get more old bodies, and we will have the oldest NBA team in the history. This will be the easiest way to get a #1 in the league.
Mo may be playing lazy. But Im so sick and tired of hearing Jeff Van Grumpy scream and yell like he knows how to win games. he hasnt done crap since 99 and he wont do anything now. I love that Mo stood up to his skinny little butt and said what was up. No, MO isnt a cancer, Jeff Van Gundy is the cancer. we need to get rid of Mot or Howard because theyre the same person twice and get something that we need (outside shooting) ,and id prefer keep Howard and trade moT for another bad contract but someone that brings some kind of passion and no weed
I agree completely. The guy gives them absolutely no reason to want to go out and play hard. All he does is bash them in the media when they play bad and never gives enough praise when they play well. Not to mention how infuriating it must be for him to never take up for his team on the court either. There is absolutely no excuse for him not getting about 20 times as many technicals as he's gotten this year. In fact, has he even receieved one yet? Oh, and please spare me the "it's their job, they should always play hard" B.S.
Uhm.......just a bit of advise, check your info before you post. The Lakers are on 14-11 so by my public school math that is only three more wins then the Rockets. On another note Mo-TA is a michigan pu$$y. He is soft and a whiner. He didn't do anything while Rudy was here and continues lack luster performance. But at least he is consistent. He has $6 million reasons a year to be motivated to play EVERY night. The problem is our guys do not give it all every night. And might I add that it was the players who got Rudy fired for their piss porr effort and performance for 4 seasons in a row. So before we start casting stones at JVG for his coaching lets just make sure we are not looking at the world through rose colored glasses.
JVG is a jerk for airing the laundry in public. This should be a private team only discussion. Man, who could play for this guy, might know x's and o's but I question his leadership. I'm glad Mo stood up, hopefully more guys stand up to the little dictator. Nothing like a good player revolt to get a head coach a plane ticket out of town.
Mo is just the 1st guy to say it. I remember when Steve was the spokesman for discontent last year. I wouldn't be surprised if Mo is speaking for many of this teammates including Yao.
So true, I think Van Gundy has succeeded with the "HOUSTON" Media making it seem as though it is really a lack of effort. No athlete I know wants to be on a losing team. However I know there are plenty of athletes that dont like to play hard for a coach thats just gonna B*tch anyway. JVG is the cancer. He is a Genious at deflecting the blame off of hisself. Wow so if Yao and Taylor are traded for Chris Mihm and Lamar Odom (and Caron Butler) as some are proposing, for the Lakers they would have in essence gotten Yao for Shaq, plus change.

He has been trying his motivation tactics in the media all year and it hasnt worked yet....Why not try talking in your locker room like the "winning" coaches do? I just think we've wasted enough time. JVG has never shown he can adjust his game, he CLEARLY stated in the Chronicle that he doesn't plan on changing his game. Everytime we think things are going to turnaround, we fall right on our butts. We do have holes in our roster, but this team is good enough to win. JVG is all about ugly wins/ugly losses, but it doesn't have to be like this. We have 56 games left of the season. We would have to win atleast 30 of those to be in playoff contention, and 33 to match last season's record. We have shown little improvement so far, and I don't things will just start "clicking" all at once, like last year.
