[Chron] Rockets preparing analytics-heavy presentation for Bosh

I like this idea.

 

I just realize that Morey is a romantic person!

Last year Gotart e-mail event and this year Bosh presentation program...:grin:

 

Lets see, i can play with the best player in the league along with a top 5 pg who is 21,a non stop big in noah,and 17ppg deng, in a city that sells out even when we suck vs what again? Ok, maybe i am pessimistic and i think morey is going to present something an average player couldnt turn down, but the minute yao is introduced in the video as a reason, bosh will ask,how many games has he played in the last 5 yrs? What kind of recent playoff success has the team had? Its a no brainer and even if the rockets had cap room, it would be a hard/impossible sale. Now if there was a 30 yr old hakeem,moses,shaq,robinson,ewing,or even zo playing center, the chances are greater, but yao and his penchant for season ending injuries wont cut it. I highly doubt he even visits houston.

 

Eat your heart out Al Gore. An Inconvenient League by Morey. Can we get Lucas to do some special effects for us?

I'm getting a hunch there's Morey and Bosh's agent are in on some kind of conspiracy.

My theory: Bosh has already decided to come to Houston, but they are playing this up to maximize the publicity value of that announcement.

Im not sure what to think anymore...i think all of these guys would be interested in houston, but there was so much hype thrown to the teams making cap space that they forgot about sign and trades....now that the media is throwing houston out there i think these guys are asking their agents "what about houston?".....so one of them has to bite..

Bosh didn't wait till July 1st. He has opted out alreay. I think that means he has made his mind which team he will sign with.

 

Wasn't it you who said you know money matters most to athletes? Now you're saying it's to play with top players?

If you're going to keep bashing the Rockets, at least be consistent in your points.

 

I think lee is still holding on hopes for a Rockets team of DeAndre Jordan, Antoine Walker, Ricky Davis, and Tim Thomas.

Wow. It's like Morey's real job is dungeon master so he's hand picking the biggest geeks in the NBA to join his D&D group. I can just see Battier, Bosh, Yao, Patterson, Budinger and Scola all playing. hahahaha.
