Funny how we waive Head when teams have to sign a player before the 1st of March in order to be eligible for the playoffs. Too bad he was injured before because now whoever we sign is not eligible for the playoffs.

Don't know if he will play, but we need weak side defense with the ability to block shot, and keep his man in front of him, actually more than scoring, and with these capablilities can lead to more fast break points and less fatigue to Yao, which is where the Rockets appear to be moving.

How are they going to find minutes for him? Our rotation looks just about set.

If this kid is so crazy emotional that he has to rely on Arest to set him straight, this kid will be out the door next week. :D

    That's not true at all!

Wafer, Hayes, and Barry have all competed in either the McDonald's, NCAA, or NBA dunk contest.

    ;)

Interesting that this is the third one we're adding in the last year. Clearly, Hayes dominated Gerald Green in the team dunk contests last year, so Morey felt obligated to add more competition.

I don't read too much into the move as many of you see it as Morey adding a prospective "piece" to the puzzle.

I see a D-leaguer who has elevated his game enough against inferior talent to maybe get a shot against the big boys.

It would be nice to get a look at him in a blow-out or something, just to see if he has improved his mid-range game, because athletically this guy is Vince Carter in his prime.

They're simply not :D If he makes the team at all it's again a move for the future, although Morey will probably say we upgraded and he is our saviour because we do not have enough firepower at SG.
Funny because everybody knows, except for the Rockets organisation, that size at the PF spot and lack of experinece at PG are the real problem.

I think this is a great pickup. We need another SG. This guy finishes better than anyone on the team, makes wafers drive look like a joke.

Why do we need a PF? We have landry who is injured.

Why do we need a center? Dikembe is on the bench, adelman never plays him.

Why do we need a PG? We have Barry there to mentor these guys, adelman should play him.

Some of you people have an incredible prejudice against players working their way to the NBA from the D-League.

My gawg folks, he's 6-7 with hops and can obviously put the ball in the basket. In case you haven't noticed...the Rafer and Grady-less Rockets have been playing at a much higher tempo and (excluding the Collapse in Chi-Town) have been pretty damned successful.

The Rockets don't have a 1st round pick this summer so look at this as early dress rehearsal. Beyond that, Anahiem is owned by the Lakers and run a triangle offense so White ought to be good at picking up what Adelman wants to do.

No but last night the refs had to huddle up and form a pack after the game once they saw crazy in Ron's eyes.

You can always find minutes for a free throw line dunker. Seriously, would you rather see us win or see us pull off some really really badass dunks? I'll let you decide that.

I hope you're watching the same game all of the members here are watching. If no Wafer, we are dead in the water. Who picked up the slack when TMac was out earlier in the season? W-A-F-E-R

Anyway, I hope he is another diamond in the water... Morey is good on finding players that fits the system. Injuries are the only thing that I know that kills the Rockets. We always have the talent, but the players are injured so often... I think this team is really close to do something special... Really close

I like this guy, but for some reason his body language tells me he has bad attitude...which translates into non-fundamental, lost of focus and bad decisions. He looks like he has everything...just bad attitude...which wont' sit well with coaches that want to take the game seriously.

An overrated sg/sf. I mean think about it. The San Antonio Spurs got rid of him so obviously he is not that good
