One of the knocks on him coming out of high school was that he didn't dunk in traffic... I wonder if that's changed in the years since he graduated?

I haven't had time to dig through this thread, can someone briefly tell me why he didn't stick in the league? Those are very impressive numbers for the brevity of playing time.

Boo, I got beaten to it Oh well lol, hopefully we can finally see some highlights in Rockets games (While winning of course).

 

I think people were saying he at least had attitude and work ethic issues. Hopefully, that's not that case at all.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiight... because there's such a long history of D-League call-ups producing the same numbers they did against the scrubs.

his defense most likely. You know stats are just overrated and don't really show the true persons ability really. Look at Shane Battier for example. Great player but stats aren't that overwhelming.

Yes...maybe one of the best dunkers of all time. i think he's the only guy ive seen do a side pump from the freethrow line with two hands. also on youtube you can find him putting it through his legs from the freethrow line. INSANE.

 

Very true, but I'd rather be bringing up a player with fairly impressive numbers in the D-league, rather than seeing average numbers and hoping he's got good fundamentals and the "intangibles"

Some of you guys are making way too big a deal out of this. He is NOT going to be part of the playoff run. He might see as many minutes as Deke has seen this season. Its only a contract to see what he can bring and will only get time in practice.

 

sick dunk!!!!! but seriously basketball is a 5 on 5 game. I guarantee you that if this was a game he will not get a chance to do that. Either will be called for a charge or won't have no space to pull it off. Youtube clips of guys are just a way to hype the guy up for other people to see.

 

Practice what practice lol.. I don't think we practice anytime soon for the Rockets to see what he can do. I agree with you though. Guys are overreacting on this. It's only a 10 day contract. Just because the guy can jump out the gym and dunk doesn't mean he can really ball. Mind me D-League and the NBA are two different games
