So I'm guessing that Yao,Artest, and T-mac can't carry the Rockets.

I dunno ask the San Antonio Spurs

Ron's shooting 34% now. Last year he shot 45% compared to T-Mac's 41%. There's a difference between being in a shooting slump and not being able to shoot. I don't expect that Brent Barry is going to continue bricking it up either.

Also, if you take this last game as a metric Ron doesn't shoot the ball as much as T-Mac. He fired up 14 shots in over 40 minutes. T-Mac heaved up 14 shots in less than 30. God knows how many more shots he would have taken from one foot inside the three point line if he hadn't been riding the bench.

Some people on here act like Ron Artest has a good shot selection or something.

I think Yao and Artest were around for the Boston and Portland games too. They just didn't get a chance to score all that much.

T-Mac's scoring sure helped against the Celtics and the Blazers, didn't it? Too bad he forgot he was supposed to cover Roy, or at least do more than point at him.

    Shaud,

That's what happens when you don't use Ron the right way. You can't make Ron turn into Shane Battier. That's what they are trying to do now. Shane is the one that shoots 3's not Artest. Ron is at his best on posting up and on cuts. That's about it. He can shoot but he is very streaky. You don't want Ron on the perimeter like that. He's a great offensive rebounder.

The guy converted at a very respectable 45% last year. That's the bottom line.

Oh I agree with you about that. I always felt we should post Artest up much. He does not have a good enough handle to try and create for himself around the perimeter.

But he played to his strenghts and that's the bottom line.

Some people also act as if Ron brings the intensity everygame as well, just like T-Mac.

The only thing is that I didn't realize that Artest doesn't dribble too well. I've been to a few games and it seems like he struggles with the ball and driving into the lane at the top of the key.

Some people act like we're 2-10 and headed for the lottery.

We're leading our division and all the teams within the division are dealing with on-court problems of their own.

LMAO!!! Are you kidding me??!! Hey Tracy, players start getting the ball more when they are hitting their shots. Figure that out.

    EUREKA !!!!!!!

I got it...and it solves all our problems.

    1. Tmac is not in shape and needs to run a bit to get in shape, but doesn't like moving on offensive sets.

    2. Tmac needs more touches

    3. Rafer sucks as a starting PG

We can fix all 3 by...

MOVING TMAC TO THE PG position, he can bring the ball up, get to touch it every single possesion and it moves a terrible shooter out of our lineup.

Yes, yes.....move Tmac to PG, insert Battier with Ron, and Scola and Yao.....and wallah.....problems solved.

    ;)

There you go, you want your starters to demand the ball. I bet if T-Mac said, "I'm not feeling my jumper so I will defer to our role players.", Everyone would be talking about how much of a p***y he is and how that is not how a superstar/leader should react. Once again, lose/lose situation for Mac with the fans.
