Bingo, his current skill set is still off the charts, its all in his head and it has taken me years to finally see it.

Not to say that Adelman's system hasn't had an effect on this, but it's something that I rarely saw in JVG's regime either.

Tmac always starts off slow in the beginning of the season. Trust me guys he will pick it up like always. Patience is virtue. It seems the dilemma for the Rockets is that they tend to start off slow in the beginning of the season, when the expectations are high. By mid December-beginning of next year, the Rockets will string in win streaks and dominating wins, that they will be back with the good graces with the fans. Bash all you want about Tmac, Yao, Artest, The Rockets, they will be there in the end, contending with the best of them.

I think when Shane gets back and Ron goes to the bench it will all work out.

Mike Miller two years ago would be great. Mike Miller today...not so much

T-mac always starts off slow in the beginning of the season and always gets knocked out of the 1st round.

The thing is, the team Adelman had in Sacramento--a thing of beauty, fun to watch. Webber needed his touches but not to dominate the ball.

    I'd trade TMac before Artest.

Les is not going to just trade T-Mac. He has a great relationship with T-Mac. Infact, he has a lot of trust in him. He even includes him on trades, draft picks, and things like that. Not many players can say they have that type of relationship. You know how much money T-Mac and Yao have made for Les? Tons....

Now if someone brings something damn good to the team, then they might consider it. Les wants T-mac to retire as a Rocket. He's already said it.

How many times has he been favored to win? Once, and that time, you could have flipped a coin, the Jazz made a furious rally and won the game. Too bad Tmac always shows up in the playoffs, whereas his team needs to hit the open shots when opportunity knocks. The Rockets took the Jazz to game 6 last year, and none of the games were blowouts, Tmac gave it his best, and thats what counts. Knock on him if you want, but you can't say a thing about him when it matters the most. Its just sad to see some of you fans throw the team under the bus when they are struggling, but will adore them once they start winning.

It has nothing to do with Ron. Tmac is leg is weak because of the surgery and poor rehab and has no faith it in it. We would be in worse shape if Ron wasn't here because no one would be playing any perimeter defense. Tmac has started out slowly every year he has been here. I didn't expect any different this year.

When he says more touches it doesn't necessarily mean shots , get him the ball more and run the offense through him more.

It's situational. What makes Yao a good rebounder is his height advantage. On the other hand his lateral mobility and quickness are extremely poor.

So forget about chasing a long rebound down. On the other hand he can stand under the basket and tip the ball to himself four or five times in a row while the midgets around him hop up and down.

well, at least he feels he's a bit out of sync. hope that's a start.

i never doubted mcgrady's talent and bball iq. like many have said, it's all in his head.

the trouble is, something in the head sometimes is easy to fix, but can also be hard or even never fixed.

    we shall see.

The guy's already a black hole on offense, he's shooting the worst fg% of his career, and he wants more touches?

I'm all for McGrady getting more touches (he IS the best passer on the team) but maybe he would get more touches if he....oh, I don't know....demanded the ball more? Or perhaps do something besides stand at the top of the key for 15 seconds and than launch a jumpshot?

Tracy is not palying well and he knows , you guys always want him to acknowledge that and he doesn , you always want him to take responsibility and he wants more touches and to try to do more.

You say he doesn't have fire anymore and doesn't care when he plays bad but the frustration of how he looks amkes him want to shut it down because he feels he hurt the team.

He plays on one leg and you people are still not happy , Tracy Mcgrady can do no right in the eyes of some of you people.
