Rockets made an offer bc they're interested and Miller wants to make a choice soon (I think by friday). So to be considered, we had to present an offer. This has nothing to do with Scola. Perhaps someone else but not Luis.
Going along with the speculation on clutchfans the idea that we are going to land a big free agent is a long shot as well. Its a pipe dream that Melo will sign with us on the offseason and thats really the only legit big name free agent for the 2011 offseason. If we do get CP3 it would be a deadline deal. And I doubt that is going to happen as well.
to me resigning scola is a no brainer he is a work horse that works hard for every single dollar he makes

The only player this make expendable is David Andersen. They are both 7 footers than can shoot. Andersen is a better 3 point shooter, but both can knock down the shot. But Miller can grab some rebounds, so the only player that should be worried is David Andersen
Nice pitch on Brad Miller, but definitely, Scola will be back on the Rockets uniform. Man! Scola on his prime at 30! That's freaking insane!
Like i've said before, adding Brad Miller would almost solidify us a finals appearance. With a good shot at the championship. This would be Morey's best move yet. IMO.
