    Oh, and by the way...

    I like JVG, but...

At half time, four of their players each had three fouls.

Now, in the old RudyT days, I know for a fact that when we had one of their players in foul trouble, we would set up our offense to drive into that player to get them to foul out of the game.

It pains me to know that Van Gundy just doesn't do that.

In the second half we did not aggressively attack the rim against Lakers that were in foul trouble. There is no excuse for this! With four Lakers in foul trouble at half time, we should have at at least gotten one of them to foul out in regulation. None of them did. Odom finally fouled out in overtime with 15 seconds left in the game. Ridiculous.

I just... don't... understand why our offense goes soft on an opponent once they get in foul trouble. I have seen this happen several times.

Again. I like JVG. I'm glad he's our coach. But I don't always agree with him.

    Vator -

GREAT video clip to keep the good feelings rolling along... I hate Kobe with a passion, mostly because he's SOOOOO egotistical.... Dude thinks he's fouled on EVERY shot, and that he's never made a mistake in a game.

God, if he even had a modicum of humility it would be so much easier to appreciate his greatness. I think Kobe's well on his way to becoming the Basketball version of Barry Bonds (perhaps without the HGH... :p !!!)

This is JVG's greatest challenge before playoff time... GET THIS TEAM TO PLAY PISSED OFF!!! And for God's sake somebody put a frickin leash on Rafer after he makes an early 3. The moment he makes 1, I think, oh sh*t... he's going to jack up 20 more shots....

Thank goodness Rafer was only playing against Smoosh (What the hell kind of name is 'Smoosh' Anyway) Parker. And Battier should get a medal, 'cause he's the only who really seemed to actually bother Kobe at all. Even TMAC, as long as he is did not seem to faze him much, and I was surprised that Snyder wasn't more effective considering his hops....

Oh, well, it's on to face Utah and set up the sweet home court advantage against the Jazz!!! ;)
