A lot of y'all forget how many young players we have that are only going to get better. Two of them are lottery picks (Patterson and Hill), and one of them should've been (Budinger). Taylor's not lookin' too bad and Adelman seems to like him quite a bit, too. I look forward to all of their development, just like I did for Aaron Brooks and Carl Landry.

I think Hill is going to have a strong year but the guy that I really think is going to be good is Jermaine Taylor.

Just a gut feeling, but I expect him to earn rotation minutes and make the most of them.

Morey revealed that Hill was a top 6-7 talent on his board.

Agreed, Jordan's footwork and quickness is what separates him from most big man prospects.

First Summer league game today I bet he puts big numbers. 16pts/13rebs/4blks. It's just summer league, but a good time work on his game. Patterson 10pts/8rebs/1-1 3pt

Gotta love this kid. Through a disappointing first half of last season, this kid just keeps continueing to work hard. Great attitude, and cant hurt to train next to some of the hardest working players in the league in Yao, Hayes, Scola, and Lowry. We just dont know his potential, and that should be scary for some Western conference teams. I would be perfectly content sittin on our roster, and throwing out a bench of: Lowry/C-Bud/Ariza/Patterson/Hill. I would love to see Taylor in there too, i am hearing nothing but good things coming from this guys development.

It sounds like the Rockets are seriousy going to use the summer league to determine whether or not they need to make a deal in the off-season.

I wince at the thought. Let's just all hope that Turner and the organization see improvement in Hill, because we really need him this year.

Budinger & JT are going to be beasts.

Do you have a source for that? I seem to remember Feigen stating that the Rockets had Hill down around #12 or so on their board, but I can't find the blog entry with that statement in the comments section.

I could easily be wrong, of course. For some reason, my memory is not that great... :p

He's doing and saying all the right things. Wouldn't it be sweet if Hill ended up making Toronto regret not pushing harder for a S&T to Houston and Houston glad they didn't swing a Bosh deal afterall?

Morey said he was #6 in terms of talent, but around #12 based on off court issues. He followed it up by saying Hill hasn't had any issues so far.

Hill needs to stop looking like a project and start dominating this SL game. Rockets need his trade value to go up.

I believe Hill is going to make an impact this year. Now whether the impact is going to propel him to become a good player or perhaps a star? I don't know...we'll see.

Hill has imporved his touch around the basket like some of his low post moves. Looks good as a finnisher but still has room to improve. Rebounding is great he can be a starter incase we can't sign Scola by midseason.
