River, Exactly. No one is consistent every single time out. Phil Jackson used to let his players work their way out of jams, and thus they became a hardened team. JVG is too trigger happy, one and done. DD
nice point RR it must hurt their pride/confidence when JVG says this kind of stuff to the media and then get ridiculed. I dont think I would like playing for JVG when he says stuff like this to the media.. luckily none of the players complain about him to the media. "yeah we have a crappy coach that cant get a rotation together" or "our coach doesnt understand timeout management" or "yeah we need 3pt shooting but our best shooter is still on the IL with an unknown illness" J
funny thing is We talk about how classy our players are for not doing so but no one is really calling JVG out for his Classlessness Rocket River

it's awful high school sports psychology. it's deameaning to both spoon and padgett. there are only two starting options in juwan and mo, none of those two have stepped up, though juwan has been playing slighly better. jvg has just got be firmer and say to those two improve or move (your ass further down the bench behind padgett and spoon), simple as that.
Couldn't agree more. JVG just keeps blabbering his mouth about his players to the media. It's just so annoying and probably even more annoying the players. Guys like Boki, Padgett, BARRETT, have all played well this season, much better than Lue, Bowen, Ward have played. This is crap. Remember how excited we were to see Barrett play? He played so well for us when he was in, he hit his shots, sped up the tempo, and just brought a ton of energy to the team. Where is he now? Sitting on the freak'n bench behind Lue. Lue has been absolutely terrible for us, and Barrett has been one of the only high points of the season so far. I just don't understand what JVG is doing?
