Great guy but when your team's aim is to be the top dog in the game then it's time to drop off the puppies. Good luck to Novak. He can help the Clippers.
Defense isn't the reason because those guys aren't much better. Novak doesn't have the basket sense ON OFFENSE to be like them. They know how to get open and force a defender to hustle. Novak is one of the easiest players in the NBA to guard.
I'm going to miss him.Knock em down,Steve but not against the Rockets. That game winner was terrific.
Why do people keep saying that? I like Novak as a 3pt specialist but not a rotational player.... I would have kept Mike Harris over him... DD
I heard he is pronouncing his name Novatch and getting offers from the Slovakian league now. On a serious note, this has Tru Warier decision written all over it. I'm sure Ron sat down, went over our roster, and made a call to Morey. I mean, is the timing a coincidence?
i wanted him to stay on our team for awhile. could be a good backup, all he needs to do is learn defense. good for the clippers tho, and us
Novak was my Scotty Brooks, you just wanted him to get in the game and make a difference. I liked him, but I know he didn't fit this team. I can see him lighting it up a bit with the clips. Good luck Steve.
oh well, not like he was going to get any Pt anyway. not after the artest deal, and barry signings. good value in return too. switching second rounders with the clips is fine with me. our second rounder shouldn't be worth anything while they might have very high second rounder.
Honestly I am even surprised Morey even got someone to do that switch. I guess the Clippers were happy with acquiring Camby for the same exact price.
Ah, Morey will probaly package this draft pick and the Memphis 2nd rounder next year for some first round stud or something nice at the deadline. Good Luck Steve.
He's an insurance if Barry and Tracy get injured. Or Morey wants him to play in his contract year to boost his stock.
