Meh, meh. Didn't particularly like Novak, but he was a sharpshooter, but now he's redundant with Brent Barry.

Man I wanted novak on this team badly it sucks that he was traded away without getting anything back other than a potential swap of future second rounders. Man I am bummed because I figured he would be able to be a valuable asset this year after seeing his improvement last year and of course winning the kings game for us. On the flipside? Now we can go clubbing out in LA baby me and Steve...I can go over to his place and play video games or he can come over to mine and play rockband!! Its going to be great.....Crap now I have to go get a clippers Novak jersey I wonder if he will be able to keep #20. We are going to get all the fly babes now when we go out to the swank spots in LA. And I'll be able to see Steve play (or sit) 41 times a year live!!! (well def will go to more clipper games this year because of him and baron) Watch steve is coming back next year signing for the vet min because he loves Houston so much. I wish he was still a Rocket.
Damn. Peace Novak. As for Head, I wish we could have replaced him with Greene in that Artest trade, but Head needs out, too (that unreliable playoff shooter).

I can see us keeping Head for the regular season to limit the wear and tear on Barry, and then stick with Barry for the playoffs.
Really sad to see him go....he had one of the purest releases ive seen. Just a dead-eye shooter. Was he really that much of a liability, never paid that much attention to him on the defensive end? I mean you figure, Matt Bullard made it onto the floor... Anyway, sad because I do think he will be successful somewhere as a specialist.

I always wanted him to succeed bit was tired of waiting. Man he is going to have some honies on his jack in LA. I am sure he appreciates being traded to a decent down.
I like this. Barry can do everything Novak can except better, and Novak likely gets tons more playing time. Just hope he doesn't burn us.
