What! Are you serious? You would rather keep DJ cause he's in da game?! Wafer is the better player period and if you wanna base it on a NBA 2k9 then go use DJ on your team and check out his stats. I'm just saying Wafer can't get any worst than what DJ is on 2k9 cause he sucks big you know...

I hear ya....I was just kidding. I don't care who they keep, neither one will see the floor much once we are healthy anyway.

I do like to try and keep my rosters accurate, but it's not that big a deal. I'll start shopping Rafer pretty soon, and if the right offer comes along....he's GONE!

if wafer's contract is fully non garunteed he is the one that stays. I highly doubt they will pay garunteed money for Dj just to sit on the bench. Dj is going to have to have the game of his life thursday to stay on this team.

I wish, but nope, he makes too much money on a guaranteed contract. It's either Wafer or Strawberry, tough one...

I read somewhere that Tiger is willing to offer Mike 70k/month in CBA. Financial wise, that's not a bad option. He was going to make league min even if he could stick around and probably won't get much PT either. At this point of career, MH has to look outside NBA to make most out of his playing career. Good luck to him.

Haven't seen much of preseason mainly because i"m in school in San Marcos. But from previous knowledge and seeing some footage wafer should stay because of ability to score. Strawberry can be a defensive stopper but we already got that on the perimeter if strawberry produces offensively as well consistently then hes the no-brainer. Wish we could keep both the more size the better but we have Luther head on contract and we all know about head. IMO when I see Luther play it seems to me he has never gain confidence in his game he plays scared to me I've only seen him show his athleticism a couple times can hit the 3 ball with ease but not with regularity and his passing and decision making has been horrible

Sorry to hear Harris is cut. Hope he'll play for a chinese team and not any NBA team. I don't like to see ex-Rockets player play well against us. I think there should be an appreciation thread for Harris for his contributions to the Rockets.

Hey rook-- or should I say Luther?-- you surely have a potty mouth. I'll admit that suggestion was a stretch, and wishful thinking; however, with Memphis, you never know. Perhaps they'd think they could use the expirings to fill some other need, since Conley is their main man. When Luther's shooting well-- well, they could market him as Miller Lite. Now go wash your mouth out with soap, and perform some small community service.

Most of us would like to see that but the reality is Head is not going anywhere.. honestly, I think Wafer will be the next cut... but whoever it is I wish him and Harris good luck in the future.. too bad we can't keep them all!!

what do we need more? 3rd string point guard or 3rd string shooting guard?
Personally, I would sign neither and try to get a decent backup PG via trades (Francis, Head, Hayes, etc,...) but is that even possible?

I hope we can find a taker for Luther Head and keep Strawberry and Wafer.

The Harris cut confuses me, I guess the Rockets really are committed to going into the season at less than 15 players......either they think that another quality player becomes available, or they are worried about the Lux tax.

Not bad at all. How many months in the season? Harris must significantly improve his defensive footwork and mid-range shooting to stick in the NBA.
