This all probably has some to do with the merger of WB and UPN, right? Now 20 is left with a lot of holes to fill, so it's kind of a perfect storm for us in that regard. In any case, the broadcast can't be worse than 51 was, so that's a big hurray right there. Woohoo!! NOW BRING BACK CALVIN, LES!!!!!
Heh, Ch. 51 was "out of the picture" even during Rockets games. Anyways, this is incredible news. This brings back memories of my younger days as a Rockets fan. Honestly, I rather have the majority of games on Ch. 20. I can't stand the pre-game, half-time and post-game shows on FSN. I always thought Ch. 51 did a better job with those segments.
They definitely need to team Bill and Calvin again!! But that's not going to happen anytime soon though. Calvin mentioned on his radio show that he'll be doing the Rockets pre- and post- game evaluations. I guess that's better than nothing.
So, Is he taking over Mario Ellie's job at Fox Sports or will he be doing this for the radio station (97.5FM)?
When I was young, the best thing about 20 vision to me was that they showed Ninja Turtles everyday at 4pm. I think they had Disney Afternoon too. Great karma.
i'm pretty sure that was Bruce Gietzen (sp?), the OG rockets halftime person. definitely nice to get the ch. 20 karma back again.
It's good to have them on 20 again, but only 13 games. What gives? If they do good this year bet that will change.
