    huh??

lamarcus aldridge is a pure 4. Rashard lewis is a pure 3 that is playing the 4 right now. and when did aldridge acquire consistent, legitimate 3 point range? his midrange j is money; but he has not shown 22-25 foot range, whereas shard has.

The rockets should never consider him after his interview on ABC. First he did not mentioned Dream when he was talking about the big men who can bring the titles into the teams while he only talked Shaq, and Dencan. Not talking of Dream as a big man when you were growing up in Houston! then he was talking about DH without mentioning Yao, that is ok, Yao is nothing, but we all knew that he went to Magic for the money, not for the titles, not for DH. Stop talk this guy, we do not need him.

Yes, logically, it is right. Still I do not think he loves the rockets because we did not select him during the daft as I read it in site, but he will not be in the rockets soon regardless.

Tell me why if it is not true? He went to Magic for the money, then he started to talk a chance for the NBA champion. Tell you true, during that time the rockets had a better chance to win a champion than Magic because both Yao and Tmac can still play better basketball, why did he join the rockets? Every player goes for the money, there is nothing wrong with it.

yes, he went for the money, so he and his familty would be set for life and so he could have that over with...once that contract is over and he's paid, there's less reason for him to play somewhere just for money, so just like he mentioned in the interview earlier this week, he would still be open to playing here once his contract is up. Just because players go for big money doesnt mean there isn't a point in their career where they rather go play to have fun and/or win, or in 'shard's case, fulfill a dream of being a hometown rocket.

I thought so. I played against him in HS (I went to Hastings) and I thought he was a year younger than I am, not two years younger.

2 NBA starters out of 4 picks with no lottery picks does not equal a bad draft.

Without Yao, we would probably not get out of the first round, much less take the Lakers to seven games.

    WoW! LoL!
Griffin might not of panned out and it did hurt the Rockets for several years. But Griffin would have been a solid player had his "demons" not caught up to him. Mobley developed more than anyone could have imaged but himself, so bravo on that one. But we picked up Drew, Maloney and Turckan? over Lewis? That was a Dumb move!

As far as value in the Mcgrady trade? I'd bet there's many that would argue with that and I'd be ahead of the line. Lewis being here from the beginning, I'd bet we wouldn't have had such a long drought getting out of the 1st round of the playoffs.

One thing many of you fail to realize is that if Houston selected RL in the first round, he wouldn't be the same player he is today. He is what he is today because the Rockets did not draft him and this motivated him to work hard. If we drafted him, he probably would've been out of the NBA after his rookie season.

There is a reason why Houston didn't select him, it's because he was a scrub. He's a decent player today....but I don't see what's so special about him. It's not like he had a Vince Young type of career before going pro.
