You can't be clueless enough to remember that Floyd was widely criticized for coming in over the catch weight in the Marquez fight and then refused to sweat it off. Again, if he hadn't do that recently this clause wouldn't be necessary. Basically people realize that mayweather will take advantage of a dope and manny isn't going to be that dope.

Marquez took floyd on his word and got burned. 'Nough said.

That wasn't what I asked you.

    Learn to read.

I said you watched it after the fact. You are too busy questioning boxing knowledge to read what was in front of you.

How about giving me some more rundown on boxers, I need a good education.

Just to clarify, the reason that $10 Million per pound was put in place was to make sure Floyd made weight. He had no intentions to come in at 147. Yes, it's still absurd but I guess they wanted to make sure Floyd had no advantages going in. I got it, let Manny come in all roided up and allow Floyd to come in at whatever weight he pleases. Problem solved and the biggest fight is back on. Damn, I should be a promoter.

Sure was. I never disputed that.

JMM got burned? Did you see JMM for that fight? JMM was cashing a paycheck. He loved getting 600k extra for Floyd being a dumbass. If he cared, he could have postponed the fight. Nobody including JMM thought he was winning that fight. Unfortanutely, JMM is one of boxing most under appreciated superstars. He simply doesn't draw and has a hard time finding an opponent. Wait until you see who he's fighting next.

Marquez has no star power. That is true. Not sure why.

Floyd makes 147 easy. He's never missed it. It was most definitely put into place so Floyd doesn't come in overweight. 10 million per pound is no more excessive then the blood tests Floyd is asking for. That's my point here

Because he is not your typical Mexican fighter. He is a counter puncher and not a brawler. He's a technician that rarely goes to war so he never grabbed the attention fo the Hispanic fight fan

You have constanly said things along the lines of "I think I'm clutchfans boxing expert" or "you would think a boxing expert like King1 would know that". Things I have never claimed that nor is it relevant in this discussion.

Wow. Ok bro. Sorry I hurt your feelings to the point where you felt the need to act like a 15 year old emo kid. Have a good weekend man.

    Dude, hurt feelings?

    No.

You are irritating, but beyond that I have no qualms. The way you post is not conversation but you seem to post in a way that calls into question the other posters general knowledge of the sport.

The history lesson on Mtagwa for example.

I was pulling for Marquez against Mayweather, but I soon realized that Mayweather is the real deal. He was one step ahead of marquez, he made it look so easy. Now Pacman just destroyed cotto in the last fight, but I give Mayweather the nod for being an excellent counter puncher, his defensive skill is way up there.
