The Rox arent doing yellow or gold to go along with Red. Cleveland is taking Red and Gold for their new uni's next season and that's offical. Red and yellow is used by ATL and MIA so those are out too. Red, white, black, and silver was in the lead until Portland came up with the Red uni's with those colors.

They stated Red and silver to mislead people so they can keep the project a secret. As you might recall, when they unveild the present uni's and logo in 1996, taht was the worst kept secret in town. Channel 2 had shown the logo before it was even unvieled. They are trying to make this more of a suprise.

But there still not doing a good job with that. I overheard on the radio that they are actually leaning toward Red, White, PEWTER, and Black as the colors like the Tampa Bay Bucs. I would love to see those as our colors. Our uni's would be unique.....in the NBA that is. I am gonna email the Rox this suggestion to make those colors be our colors.

I agree with a previous post... can we convince the website to have a poll with some of the favorite color schemes. I'm sure the brain trust of the Rockets at least check out the site occasionally. Maybe we can have a voice in this process afterall.

doesn't Nike design jerseys (top pic) for teams like the Lakers & Raptors?

I also like the jersey on the top, compared to the old school ones on the bottom.

I wish the Rockets did something simple like that----white home jersey with red sides with the old Rockets lettering ([IMG] ) at the top.

Same goes with the away jersey, but red with white sides.

I really appreciate the fact that a friggin female is designing our unis. Secondly, lets try to maintain an identity for crying out loud. WE have not even had the current uniforms for that long. Lets not turn the team into a Christina Aguilerra makeover. What we need to change is the type of ball moivement we have now. Just my friggin opinion.
