So much for Rudy's offense being the source of our iso's, low assist #'s, and lack of ball movement.

    "He was lucky"

Do you not consider that to be an excuse?

So wins mean nothing and losses are the end of the world. Your head is gonna burst if this is your reaction to every loss.

BTW, I defend the whole team.

If he was supposed to be guarding Bosh, then yes it is an excuse.
It's a dumb statement, but I would like to see what Steve said about his and the rest of the team's excution down the stretch before I say he's making excuses.

i'm not pissed that we lost. i can stomach losses (been doing it for years). it's the way we lost this one. no need for me to repeat everything i said earlier, you can check it out yourself. if our "franchise" player is not capable of making relatively easy game decisions, year-in and year-out, something's wrong.

i have never been a francis basher, but watching him dribble 5 feet behind the 3 point line for 14 seconds, only to jack up a wild 3-pointer as time expires is unexcusable. especially since it was a tie game! i have to question what the hell was going through his head. it just baffles me. that should've been an easy decision, especially since JVG told him exactly what to do! but alas, francis found a way to f*ck it up.

this team will not reach the next level w/ a "leader" like that. the intelligence and additude just aren't there. this is the first time i've honestly questioned francis' commitment to making this a better team.

Nope. Many losses can be a heck of a lot better than wins. It's your reaction to those losses as a basketball player is what really matters. You need to learn from your losses to get better. There are a lot of moral victories in losses.

By saying they are lucky is not a good way from learning from a loss. He just got lucky, that's why we lost. We just didn't make our shot we normally make, that's why we lost. They normally don't make those kinds of shots, that's why we lost. It goes on and on.....

It's his mentality that bothers me after losses more than anything. It just doesn't get in his head I think as the to real reason we lose sometimes. That was a dumb statement, but that's just an extension of the way he look at things in games. Stevie is actually a very good speaker off the court. He's a very bright guy, just not on the court.

    I expect your apology.

Get over Rudy T not being the coach anymore. I liked the guy as well, but your sulking is getting ridiculous.

    whiners are stupid.

hmmm, lets think about this. who do you leave open when double teaming one of the superstars in the league?

i would take the rookie who has sucked ass the most of the season. but what do i know, i think bosh was lucky too.

Stubborness is very hard to get rid of. Ok, let's break this down.

Luck is part of the game, any game for that matter. A great shooter (lets say 50 percent 3 point shooter) needs a lot of luck to make that shot, agree? That's just stating the obvious. If there's a hand in the face, will he be less lucky? Yes. If Bosh was shooting blindfolded in midcourt with 5 guys on him, would he be less lucky? Yes. This is my point. To a certain extent, you can control your own luck in the game (playing the percentages -- playing smart) by taking good shots like passing it to the open teammate when they are open, always have a hand in the face on any shooter, etc. This improves your percentages in your favor...that's all you can really really control. I rememeber bosh is almost 50 percent from the college 3's. What he took was virtually a college 3 because it's in the deep corner. He was WIDE open with no one near him. I'd say there's a decent chance he'll hit it if he's WIDE open like that. If Stevie is more aware and covered him, his percentage of making it should would go down by a lot. That's all he can control right? It's not like Ricky Dudley is shooting man, give me a break. Bosh has a very nice shot.

A classic stevie line that reveals his stubborness/immaturity is last year after getting killed by Dallas 4 straight times. He still believed we have a better team. He does not fully undestand the real reasons why we lose these games.

I think you all should get off the Steve's back. I think he was right, the shot by Bosh was a lucky shot. And why in the world should Steve hesitate to say so. If Bosh gets that shot again he will miss it 7 out of 10 times. Some of the people on this board seem to make moutains out of mole hills. What is the big freakin' deal, he said what was on his mind. The fact that "the team" played poorly had nothing to do with his assesment of that ONE shot. He was commenting on one shot, not the game as a whole. He was not trying to minimize Bosh's contributions, but commenting on one particular situation. Jeeze some of you just take things too far.

Luck? Are you kidding me? These guys are professionals... I can stand out there and hit a wide open three pointer, so luck it is not. Bosh has a nice touch it was not luck

making mountains out of mole hills is fun, you should try it. otherwise, there are probably more reasonable forums to spend your time. and by the way, steve absolutely showed his lack of class with that comment. remember this when bosh becomes an all-star.
