I don't know, take him out for a minute or two after he plays stupidly and selfishly. Chew him out like he does Lin or DMo when he plays matador defense so he shows the other team mates Harden isn't above being chewed out. Those are two ways.
The players should be forced to sit in the locker room for an hour while listening to "Harden Soul" on repeat.
Is it possible this team is too much of a family to be competitive first amongst themselves and then this carries over to competitiveness against other teams? What actual benefits does a roster bring where everyone loves being around each other? To me, that just sets up complacency and that's what we've seen. What's wrong with a team full of people full of anger and who don't necessary all like each other? To me, I would rather have that team. I'll tell you...the last couple of games I've seen some players on the opposing team with mean, grimacing faces playing their hearts out. On the Rockets, I don't see that at all. I see a bunch of sweetheart pansies not bringing it. Maybe they should talk about that? The heart of a champion is not present. This team is going nowhere as is. A team meeting about effort? You are paid professionals! Act and play like it! What a joke!

why did you puke a little explain what you think Harden is better than Carmelo at this point? at this point it looks like Melo really wants to win and that is why he is leaving the knicks. his stats in rebounding right now and he is in the top 5 of rebounding I for forwArds. especially with a small for we have somebody who can not stop but at least stay on Paul George and LeBron and Durant
because i'm not on a witch hunt like so many of you. Harden is younger, better and more of a team player. with a team that never should have made the playoffs, he helped get them there last year. what has melo done? destroy team after team? I'll pass. and if all asik gets you is shumpert - i'll pass there too. would rather force the big man to suck it up and play off the bench.
This team is just immature and doesn't really hurt when they lose. The hunger just isn't there from certain players.

our Go-to play has to be Howard in the post, not Harden ISO. Whats wrong with the coaching staff?? are they blind?? Have to play inside-outside at least 30% of the time. Currently its less than 10%. McHale is a good motivator but not a leading this team by any means...its really starting to get annoying. As much as id like to blame the players for games like this, its on the COACHING STAFF.
you can not do that to star palyer. he who should not be named will fake injury and sits out a couple of games.
Chandler seem to me to be the guy that need to step up and own this team, he is doing so well for himself, he has the skills to be a champion, sure hes not a #1 option, but he is a Leader. When he is in he is always hustling, giving everything he has. Earlier it seemed like Cisco was the group leader but he has been struggling so bad he seems to have lost confidence in himself, I haven't seen him rally the guys like I did in the early games. tldr: Chandler is the Captain of this ship, he's not the best weapon operator or the best defense specialist, but he is the Commander of the ship, we win or lose under his command.
