Big deal. I didn't ever want to see him on the court, anyway. His job is to come in at the end of quarters or after timeouts where we need a 3. I hope we're not stuck there much.

Kill the 3! Erase it from the playbook!

I still think Pike is much better than Rice

Damn, common sense would dictate a 26yr old Posey would be less suseptible to injury than a 34yr old Pike. Ohhhh, but w/ our team $ comes first ;)

Perhaps you're thinking of Pedro Astacio... never injured in his career, then we trade Scott Elarton for him at the deadline to help us downt the stretch and he pitched like 3 games and was out the rest of the year.

Ya know Linus, I was thinking about that same thing while reading that article.

With every injury comes something good, well at least if your name isn't Steve or Yao.

Two years ago Mo's injury helped KT and Griffin get off to a good start. Rice's injury allowed Posey to step his game up. But who, if anyone, will be helped by this injury?

We like to assume that Pike is going to be Cat's back-up, but in the preseason I've seen him play just as much SF as he has done SG. Will A. Griffin have a chance to play more minutes at SG, or is he a SF? Will Bokie have more minutes when the season comes along, or was Pike truly a SG rather than SF? Then again, I've seen Van Gundy play Bokie at SG this preseason.

All in all, I think there will be someone who will be given a chance to shine out of this. Maybe it will be one of the guys who would have never had a chance to make it on the team untill they were given some more minutes.

It's bad to hear about Pike but I was afraid that he would be out for much longer.Mo,Pike and Adrian Griffin all need to get in shape quickly.
