Phil Jackson needs someone to kick him in the artificial hip.

Barkley used to get tickets for the famous Washington heckler (some lawyer I believe) behind the Rockets' bench so that he could talk trash to the team when Houston played at Phoenix during the championship years.

F**k PJ, do you know how much those seats cost. For that dough, I'd have Phil Jackson or Kobe bring me my popcorn. Rock should be classy and not tell PJ to kiss his ass but I would still be talking to Kobe.

and If remember correctly, Doris Burke was interviewing Chris Rock on the stands, and Phil Jackson told them to end the interview.
Now what is with that? Now they cant interview someone in the stands just because you are distracting the bench?

Actually those quotes were taken from the Kimmel show. Fantastic reporting.

I think Rock and Spade got those seats courtesy of ABC, since they seem to have some deal between promoting their new movie and the NBA Finals.

In any case, hecklers behind the bench yell at them all the time. The only difference is Rock is closer, and not exactly screaming profanities. Jack Nicholson always talks to the other team. He seemed to have a friendly exchange with Alvin Gentry during the last series. Let it go and play on.

But it's a problem now because it's the Lakers being distracted. How hard is it to understand that?

Phil should just hire those people they have a tennis matches if he doens't want his plaayers getting distracted. After every play we could hear
    "Quiet please, thank you"

Phil Jacko is a turd that won't flush.

I can't give him that much credit and say that he's a great coach. He's had THE BEST players around him his entire coaching career. I think Vinny Del Negro could have coached the Bulls to those finals when MJ played. (VDL was still around also, but you get my point).

If Phil could coach the Clippers or Wizards to a playoff berth and make an impact, I would give him more credibility. He is no Rudy T, Rick Adelman, JVG or Byron Scott. (Finals with the Nets)

When we post about "headcases" Phil is one himself. He doesn't speak to his players face-to-face, but instead, busts them up in the media with passive aggressive bullcrap.

He's more of a persona than a coach to me. We "get" the triangle, but really, he has Kobe to take the shots and the rest of the team to criticize when things go wrong.

Now, he goes after his fanbase in Chris Rock.

PJ needs to sit back on his big ass chair and shutup, or whistle a Kobe isolation play from half-court.

    /Rant :)

Somebody should organize the entire section behind the Lakers' bench to be filled with Laker hates and hecklers... just to piss them off.

Honestly... it wasn't a problem until Phil Jackson made it a problem.

If I'm ever really rich, I'll personally buy out the whole Staples Center during a Rockets-Lakers playoff game and give every clutchfans member(excluding those who claim allegiance to multiple teams or trolls) a ticket and we can all distract the Lakers.
