JVG should have rested Yao as well for this game. It would be a hoot for the fans and NBA, let the sucking Magics have all the fan. Hahaha...

Exactly what did Mo say that wasn't true? More to the point, exactly what did Mo say that damn near all non-casual Rockets fans already KNEW to be true without having to be Francis's teammate? As JayZ pointed out, his comments are only "bad" if you yourself view this attitude to be bad. Nothing he said was derogatory. He merely pointed out that Francis really gets into the drama of situations like that. Anyone that saw him play against the Grizzlies the first 2-3 years of his career already knew that. Quit looking so hard for someone to bash Francis and root for your own freaking team for god's sake.

Van Gundy made the right decision. All business.

McGrady accepting the bench in a preseason game as requested says nothing bad about his character.

Francis is right, he's now in a better system. His ticket out of Houston was punched the moment he won that lottery for Yao Ming. Remember how psyched he was? If only he had known.

Mo Taylor might want to stop making comments about guys recently traded from the Rockets, because he'll be one of them as soon as we find somebody with an expiring contract who's willing to take on Mo's nutty salary.

No kidding, he was already left unprotected in the expansion draft.

Why are people searching so hard to try and make something bad out of Francis' comments. Steve didn't say anything wrong. He handeled it well.

I'm glad that we have T-Mac on our team, and think that he and Yao should be a great duo. I do think that Steve's comments were a little classier than T-Mac's but I also think Steve was treated way better by the Rockets than T-Mac was by the Magic, and that anytime the two play, T-Mac might be fired up and say things that go a little over the line. This is especially true since the Orlando magic continues to talk unecessary trash.

This game doesn't really mean anything, and JVG did the right thing sitting T-Mac out and taking a look at the other players. This is pre-season and that's what it's all about. We know that T-Mac is going to make the team, let's look at other people who are on the bubble. The fact that we lost doesn't make Steve better than T-Mac, or the Magic better than the Rockets. That can be determined in the regular season.

That being said Steve didn't do anything to warrant criticism, accpet exist. There are those that will twist and spin things a way to rationalize criticizing Francis any chance they can. I had hoped that once he was off the team we'd get away from that, but it didn't happen.

    Go Rockets!
