    Ouch !!!

That is why I put the smiley face after my bombastic overstatement, and I actually think Calvin was the best 2nd round pick....

    :D

    DD

(edit) I see some others have already caught on to the Calvin Murphy train....

I wish CARLA was still playing for the Jazz! I would enjoy seeing him getting his butt kicked one more time.

l was listening to 610 this morning and John replayed a Matt Jackson invterview with JVG last night. Matt brought out some stat that over the last few years rookies had a 19.5% chance of making a JVG rotation, and Novak might fall into that stat. JVG said something like "19.5% huh, well Novak has a 19.5% chance I don't kill him after the the practice he had today".

LMAO, that is so JVG. That guy is a killer.

Wouldn't be too suprised if Novak does start at some point, especially if the Rockets continue to start 1st qtr badly on offense.

Snyder is a decent all around player and an OK shooter (judging by last year's %) but if he's no Novak when it comes to stretching the D.

For all the hype for a 2nd round pick, Langhi was a bust!! PERIOD

However, his block on Carla  will go down as one of the Rockets top 10 highlite moments!!! :D

I would look for Snyder to start but if we get out of the blocks slow tonite I would bet he gets yanked early for Novak, the purist.

With the shooters we have, I would rather have Synder start & Novac come off the bench. We are going to get points from the bench!!

I think he was referring to the time Langhi c()ck-blocked Malone at a nightclub.

agreed, I think Novak and Wells would be a nice combo off the bench. Wells can post and dish to Novak when Wells gets doubled. Aslo, more importantly Wells would have room to operate if we surround him with shooters.

Will Bonzi dish to Novak when he gets doubled? I know he's not playing tonight, but it drives me crazy that we couldn't see how he will play with the rest of the guys. That's exactly the sort of thing we would have been watching for the last couple of weeks.

There's the rub. Bonzi has always been a poor passer. That is the one aspect of his game that he needs to improve this year.

It may be wrong but that is what the paper said today.

Guess we'll find at 8 tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I, like everyone, think Snyder will start. Novak is like having cavalry to come in and change the momentum on a bad shooting night. It might be worth 4 or 5 games a season just to come in an knock the lid off the basket.

Well on 610 today around 10:20, this drunk guy named Jd called in and asked if snyder was going to start and this article was brought up. I don't think it's a misprint. My guess is he's in there for because they have such a big team. I lol it's gonna be a gametime decision everynight :)
