Too bad. I shouldn't be alone on this. All the people who don't like to be singled out because of color or race should be with me on this....hypocrisy. I'll say no more since my comments should be in the D&D. :(

Since you're being so particular...Harris will be on the active roster and Novak will be on the inactive roster. Inactive roster without injury generally means NBDL.

I think Novak has too much of an upside to just let him go. The guy can learn the defense but he already has the skill that's even harder to master. His stroke. If anyone saw the game in which he scored 41pts and 16rb vs UConn and Rudy Gay knows what I am talking about. Keep Novak.

Boki showed that he had the ability to play, but did not get much playing time under JVG (5.5, 11.5, and 12.8 mpg). Once his PT doubled, his PPG tripled and last year, he shot over 42% from distance.

I am sure some of that came from maturity, but plenty of it had to do with playing the game on the floor, an opportunity that he did not get much under JVG. I would love to have his combination of size/shooting/slashing back, and I am sure that Adelmann would like it too.

JVG doesn't deserve all the blame, but he certainly deserves some.

Hayes and Battier both played in very good college programs for 4 years under coaches that stressed defense. Not every player has that luxury and not every player has the fire and desire to learn defense and apply hustle to their game.

My point is that defense is easier to learn than shooting stroke and if Novak shows hustle, he is more than worth the risk if he can shoot 40+ % from downtown in our system.

Personally, I would like to have that shooting over what Reed, Butler, and Snyder bring to the table.

Wasn't Nachbar traded for Wesley? Not a bad trade, in my opinion.

Short term gain, long term loss. One of the consequences of having a coach who does not want to develop young players.

What about last year, since you keep crying how JVG did not have much to work with?

    Oh wait.... :p

Anyways, isn't it strange that as soon as Gundy was booted, we started to get rid of trash and began to get quality players?

We took care of the problem at its root! Schweeet!!!!

No, Jim Jackson was traded for Wesley. Nachbar was a throw-in.

We have gone through this point in this thread

Sue me. Can't say I troll many Boki threads. :D Never was a fan of the guy, although of course who could forget him ripping Malone's jersey?

Either way, it's crying over spilled milk.

With his 42% three point percentage and ability to get to the basket, Boki would make this team.

Boki is an example....of JVG's inability or unwillingness to develop younger players.
