    UPDATE 2:47pm

Sounds good though not extending Lee and picking up option on Hill might bite us in the ass.

Can some1 rationally explain why we traded our first round pick for Twill again ??

I think we didn't have the option for an extension for Lee (he wil be a RFA in the summer) IIRC.

We thought Williams had a lot of talent, and defenitly more than a non-lotery pick in this draft. We hoped that in a new situation he would reach that potential. So far that didn't work out.

I wonder how far apart Lee and the Rocket FO are. Really want to keep him, but he could be considerably overpaid by somebody like Celtics.

It's either negotiate a contract extension now or just pick up his qualifying offer of $3,221,934 and wait until he's a restricted free agent in the summer and match someone's offer for him and hope it isn't outrageous. So hoping that he ends up getting a contract around the range of what Lowry has.

dont really care about the rest except for Lee, he's a keeper, he should be a good replacement for K-Mart when his contract expires. Also hope we can use Lee to lure DH12 here, perhaps Dream/Yao can help out too, with DH12 here, we are surely contenders

I pray we keep Lee. I think lee and a Lowry back court is small but that's the ONLY bad thing you can say about those guys- otherwise, I think they'd be great pieces if we can some how extract our roster for a superstar (Howard mainly)

He was worth the risk of a 15th pick or later.

As far as REALISTIC targets go(as in not a superstar), Lee should be top priority. The man can do everything. Maybe Morey and Lee's agent agreed that he deserves more than rookie scale. I say try to keep him here as long as you can. Maybe, 3 Years, 7 Mil or something.

    That quote ... man.

Hill actually does rebound this year at a solid rate, but he's still not a smart player and hasn't shown much improvement or consistency. I don't know what the Rockets think they're going to learn in the next 18 hours (or whenever the hour of the deadline is). I'm sure they're exploring all options.

W/O Hill around 39 mil, with about 42. I'd say Dragic would be about 4-5 mil to re-sign and Lee will sign an offer sheet for about the same (which the Rockets surely match)

Leaving about 7-8 million in free agency money, enough to sign Omer Asik to pair with Sammy D.

Elaborate on why a 15th pick or later please

I don't understand why they would keep Hill either or even consider him Clutch. His agent is of course smart by saying that since he cannot say openly how he feels about him, but it's of course rubbish.
