Nene's love of Houston's humidity isn't worth giving up 30M.

Unless a player is a superstar endorsement money isn't going to be huge factor even if he gets a ring.

we wouldn't know if he would of gotten the same injury because he would of been in a different circumstance.

We don't knw what could've transpired after trading for a over the hill washed up Gasol. There is no indicator he was lock to come here. He's simply saying he likes our city

The Nuggets had the ability to offer 30M more than any other team.

Well, Nene has been in and out of the lineup all year with minor injuries, so it may have been frustrating for us.

I agree, though... it would have really given us a lot of hope and made things more fun around here had it gone through. Screwed over by Stern!

But in Houston, Nene could have snagged the coveted Taco Cabana endorsement deal.

    This.

Again, from what I know from talking with his sister-in-law and wife, NeNe had us in top choices, even higher than Denver. Our money was the same. His role would have been bigger.

He is giving Kevin props through the media, because he did not want to play for an unproven coach. I do know this.

His relationship with Karl is great, and when he considered his baby, wife and coach in Denver, he went with them.

He would have been a Rocket with or without Pau. It came down to his wife's suggestions and differences in coaches.

^^What were his wife's suggestions? She just didn't want to relocate?

    Yeah...pretty much.

The family is all from CO.

They have big ties into real estate there and with Colorado State University, where I went to school with the sister-in law.

We lost Hayes and Lin from that veto'd trade.
