Well, Nene has been in and out of the lineup all year with minor injuries, so it may have been frustrating for us. I agree, though... it would have really given us a lot of hope and made things more fun around here had it gone through. Screwed over by Stern!
This. Again, from what I know from talking with his sister-in-law and wife, NeNe had us in top choices, even higher than Denver. Our money was the same. His role would have been bigger. He is giving Kevin props through the media, because he did not want to play for an unproven coach. I do know this. His relationship with Karl is great, and when he considered his baby, wife and coach in Denver, he went with them. He would have been a Rocket with or without Pau. It came down to his wife's suggestions and differences in coaches.
