Id take Hassan or Hasheem for the right price. Best athletes on that list and both have a rediculous amount of length to go with shotblocking skills.. Fesenko's an athlete too, but he's already 24 and has had off court issues..

One thing I got in this article was how DM is trying to trade for that Jazz center. I remember posting here that DM should have signed him instead of Vlad Brad this summer, Utah didn't offer him anytthing more than 2M a year and he ended up taking the qualifying offer.

IIRC DM and Fesenko had some "interesting" discussions but according to Fasenko's agent the rocket didn't even offer a contract. Now according to this article they're trying to get that same dude they could have signed. Yes, I know the chances are high Utah would have matched, however they were in lux tax at the time and dealing with Boozer drama. They also were in discussins in trading for Al Jefferson, and I have a hard time believing they would have matched a 5M/year deal, which is just a little more than we're paying Brad Miller this year. I'd say its one of DM's rare mistakes.

I think either Nene or DeAndre Jordan would be the best case scenario for us. (besides Melo of course)

Its almost like the Houston chronicle is sympathetic to Morey. We already know he has Feigen in pocket. But seriously, I'm getting tired of this. First a article saying Morey's "active" like thats somethin every GM isn't around the deadline. Now a article saying we're gonna settle for just a center because we won't get Melo, which we NEVER had a chance anyways to get him anyways. What happened to getting a 4th quarter go to scorer? What happened to getting a starting SF? Especially since u traded Ariza for ANOTHER guard which is causing problems for our team because everybody plays the same position. Morey gets WAY too much credit. The real person who deserves the credit is Adelman. He's the reason Morey can hide because Adelmans kept us competitive and positive.

Having a backup PG is more crucial to your success than a starting C!! Just look at the Rockets!!!

Nene is more than a servicable center.....Tops on that list of centers we may be able to attain.....IT IS WRITTEN.

    I live in Chicago.

    A) Asik doesn't start
    B) Asik is borderline d-league material, trading him for Lee would be lopsided

I'd Trade for Thabeet by trading Yao's expiring
Then trade for Melo and Nene by trading Aaron Brooks, Jordan Hill, C-Bud, Jeffries expiring, draft picks and some cash.
If Melo does leave we can Sign and trade him for Bynum and Artest then our next season's line up would be

Lowry/ Terrence Williams/ Ish Smith (( idk if we have to resign him since I'm not familiar with his contract.))
    Martin/ Lee
    Artest/ Bynum
    Patterson/ Hayes
    Nene/ (Yao) Thabeet

The money could work if Battier signs cheap, we "could" resign Yao and we'd have a legit team defensively.
