Tell me, how many free throws do you usually get when you get fouled?

But you get 2 free throws for a 2pt FG attempt/penalty situation so that should be:

    2*.7 = 1.4

    1.4>1

Oh, I see what the argument was about. I really need to stop butting in... sorry about that.

haslem is a bit undersized as well. i think he's really only about 6'7". IMHO he's just above average for a PF.

etan thomas or aging abdur-rahim would be better.

I doubt the Heat would trade Haslem. If Simien did develop into a nice player he would be expendable. Alston for a future second round pick plus consideration would be enough.

It's beginning to sound like Alston's contract will be hard to move. He's better than most of if not all of the scrubs left but he's not even a top target for the Heat just someone they fall back on if their other targets are gone.

It's not a fair trade for the Heat to give up Haslem for him.

I know, I wasn't really specifically making a comment on getting Haslem.

Wierd argument... that analysis seems a little out of whack in comparing which form of scoring is better since the frequency with which players take shots are a lot greater than they take FTs, since most players are pretty ineffective at drawing fouls.

I could list the T-wolves as an example. I believe they had one of the highest FT% as a team a few years back, but they also got to the line the least frequent. So in effect the lack of trips to the line negated the high conversion rate.

is there a better quality vid of that? the best part of that was tmac's reaction as yao was going behind the back, but it's too fuzzy on that. that was great though.

I really like snyder to. When tracy was all about his jump shot snyder would slash down in the paint and dunk back those bricks tracy was shootin. Even though he was hurt last year I think he is a quality player that will thrive in adlemans system.

Snyder was playing very well until the wrist injury last year.

When is another trade going down? I can just feel that victory is ours with moves that are being made.

I am getting a little antsy here myself, since we have been spoiled with a move every single weeks since the beginning of the FA signing period.

Has there been any more news on the rumored trade? Wasn't the latest a Haslem for Rafer-Head trade?
