So far 3 out of his 4 seasons coaching have been winning seasons.

darn, will a win against the mavs with lin playing in the 4th quarter calm down the board? you'd think a much needed win would have gotten spirits up.

Same here! Not sure why people on here are so attached to this guy. I think it would be the best thing for the Rockets' future potential success.

mchale knew what kind of situation he was walking into when he first came to the rockets. now does he always agree with some of the moves morey makes? of course not, but on the rockets it seems the GM has more say than the coach does and i think mchale knew this coming in.

It was never about a single season win. It is about the ceiling of this team and what Rockets could do with McHale as the coach.

I disagree entirely. In his interview(s) when he came here, he said he was excited by the fact that the franchise wanted to win now, had veterans, and was fostering an environment where people wanted to be around.

There isnt a team got rebuilt as quick and successful as the rockets in a while, this guy still has something to complain, what an ungrateful bit*ch. Cant wait to see his ass gets shipped out of town.

He knew what he was getting in to when he signed his contract. I have no sympathy for him.

Well it wouldn't be very hard to name several teams that reloaded, retooled, quicker and to greater achievements than the Rockets and no post season the last few years.

What teams, we have one player from last year and it was his rookie season. Has any team ever had such a large turnover rate in one season?
