exactly what i was thinking..we have a CHANCE of winning the next 5 games without TMAC..i would rather him rest...and not take a chance and rush back and maybe getting it worse...

Yao ain't giving JVG his seal of approval. He is joking around with the reporters by making it seem like he is sucking up. Yao Ming doesn't need to suck up to JVG. JVG is the one that needs to suck up to Yao.

ROFL. Man Yao has become quite the jokester. It seems every interview now has some kind of joke in it.....he's the new team clown. :D

Yes Yao is joking but the point is Yao feels comfortable enough with JVG to joke about his relationship. I think if Yao had his way Rudy would still be his coach. He is loyal to a fault and doesnot like change but Yao also appears to be okay with Jeff and I did not sense that before.

Also as for JVG needing to suck up to Yao, that may be so but Yao would never accept or demand it. It is not in his nature.

Oh no. I can't believe it.

Old Man Rock is now a JVG apologist.

    LOL

EDC is going to kill you for betraying him. ;)

I think you are right, and I think Phil will call his bluff by trying to overplay to deny Yao good post position.

It will be interesting to see if the refs call it by the book, if so JVG may have just outmaneuvered the Zen Master himself.

I predict the refs will call a reasonably tight game, and expect at least one Technical on the Faker's coaching staff.
