It hasn't clicked well since the 04-05 season, but back then it was unstoppable.

    Too many injuries.

And he was probably just having an off night.

No wonder. Did anyone else noticethe way Tracy shot last night? Everytime he shot a jumper or 3-pointer, he would kick his leg out while he's in the air.

I'm not superstitious, but for some reason, i don't believe our two superstars are meant to be together..... :(

I kinda feel bad now for saying in chat that now Yao's back, it's TMac's turn to get injured.... that'd be about par for the season.

even if tmac gets injured (hopefully he won't), he won't miss a lot of games w/ the new treatment.

but if that's the case, will then yao get injured when tmac returns again? that would suck.

    but hey, just PRAY

yeah he kicked his leg out straight instead of bringing them up under him like usual... thats kind of his "tick" or rhythm in his shot

As always, Tmac find some excuses for a bad night.

Do you have reading-comprehension difficulties? He wasn't making excuses for his poor shooting. Reporters asked him why he was limping, and so he told them.

    Who's freaking out?

and just to let you know, Wade said he heard a 'pop' on his left shoulder a week before he dislocated it.

Even superstars have off nights. Maybe you should consider that as one of the possibilities.

well its definitely not good(ie a bad sign), but at the same time it is probably insignificant.

a bad sign means it is not bad, but it could indicate a problem.......or not.

hair splitting........lets get healthy and stay that way roxs :p

I agree. Why do you think he said it? He tried to backtrack and say I am not making excuses. TMac needs to man up.

No, it has worked well any time they had extended minutes together. Yes, even last season.

The Rockets were 6-10 with Mac and no Yao, 7-23 with Yao and no Mac, and 20-7 with both (a 61-21 pace). And that was when almost all the games they played together were when one or both players were playing in pain.

If that's not clicking, I don't know what is.

I hate these r****ded knee jerk posts (not really you, Shady). They're not going to become reacquainted overnight after a 2.5 month break... especially on a night where neither had their shot with them.

One of the cons of having yao back is that these retarted YOF's like these are back

I see where you are coming from and I didn't mean that the team hasn't clicked, I was just simply replying to the fact that the actual pick and roll with Yao and T-Mac hasn't been utilized or hasn't worked much since the 04-05 season.

No doubt this team is good with both healthy. But I don't remember much of the pick and roll this season before McGrady went out, and then Yao, but if I just missed it then that's my bad.

I like the old pick and roll, no one could stop that play unless someone else's man leaked out leaving a wide open 3 pt. shot.

EDIT: When he said "1-2" punch, I thought he meant the pick and roll, that's what I meant by hasn't clicked since the 04-05 season.

Indeed. I'm dreading the return of The Incompetent Liu.
