again, stupid comment. watch what happened to tmac when he came back from the knee injury earlier than expected last yr? landry suffered the SAME injury and took like a thousand years to get back. this is the most important season of his career (and his best chance of winning). why would you want to jeopardize that?
that's what I mean... ttrocket said that not me http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=3958818&postcount=108 though I could have... lol
it def. is. i'm frustrated he won't be out there, getting the chemistry together right away, learning how to play with ron and knowing his tendencies... who doesn't? we all want the team to click as fast as possible so the learning curve isn't as high so we can get a really good seed. but the past 4 years have taught us: THE PLAYOFFS IS WHAT MATTERS. but i do hope tracy's condition will improve within the next week or 2.
This is all about TMac's mouth and brain - not his knee. If he'd just say "I'll play when the doctors and coaches tell me I can" no one here would have a problem. But instead we're getting quotes from Adelman that strongly hint he wants him on the floor. Adelman is either being an idiot (if there are legitamte medical concerns) or he seems to be prodding TMac in the frikkin' media. TMac seemed to complain when the coaching staff told him he was going to start the Boston game: "I never would have put in a full workout before a game I knew I was going to play in". It's seeming very clear that there is a disconnect between TMac and the coaching staff here.
Well you probably don't have rheumatoid arthritis. RA (and i don't mean Adelman) is much worse in the morning when you get up and is partially relieved by movement. You should also have a whole heap of other symptoms like fatigue and joint destruction (deformity). Sounds more what you have is more like osteoarthritis to me (which is a good thing) cuz RA is a crippling disease.
Actually, Tmac told Adelman that he wanted to play in the Boston game, not the other way around. This was specifically reported by Feigen. I'm not sure where you got the specific quotes from
It was reported by Bullard on-air during the game. I presume that's what the poster was referring to about Bull's comments. I'll go back and look for the Feigen article, but even if he reported something differently it could be just to avoid the perception I'm getting now.
Well that's what I get for asking a relative instead of a doctor mine doesn't hurt as much when I don't use it. I also get relief when I take aspirin when it starts to hurt so it isn't bad, but it's very annoying and nagging.
You probably also got your perception from this article. I don't think he was complaining about Adelman. [rquoter]McGrady makes return as Rockets fall to Celtics By JONATHAN FEIGEN Copyright 2008 Houston Chronicle Oct. 11, 2008, 11:49PM http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/6053838.html Tracy McGrady pushed himself through the sort of pregame workout he rarely endures. He rushed from one spot on the floor to the next, picking up the pace as he went from missing shots to pouring in 3s as the sweat flopped as it never does from McGrady before a game. As he lowered himself to the Rockets bench, he said he was pleased with the workout, but discouraged with the knee pain he still felt and that he thought would keep him out of the game. Moments later, he was told he would play, anyway,... ...“I thought I wasn’t playing,” McGrady said. “That’s why I came out here and worked the way I did. It’s great the way it turned out.”[/rquoter]
Since when is watching and listening to a Rocket's game heresay? Hundreds here saw the broadcast I did and if there's any corection to be made it will be forthcoming from people here. Facts often do (and don't) come with hyperlinks. However if you must be snarky, just because Feigen reports something the Rockets want reported it doesn't mean it's true. And a "TMac wanted to play" quote could be said about any game without any elaboration. I'm not even saying this is a bg deal - yet, but Adelman is known for being a player's coach and he's not mentioning TMac's health in this situation. If you don't find that as a matter of interest, fine, but I do.
you clearly all need to chill. It says in the article that the doctors are on the same page with him and the coaches. Its fine let the dude rest for crying out loud.
