I'm definitely not unconcerned like most you. Missing 1-2 regular season games is not going to be enough time to do what hasn't been done in all these months. If his knee is not ready by the opener I doubt it will be ready by game 3. This sounds to me like more than a couple of games.

Hopefully they don't incur any more set backs and Battier's MRI comes back negative. Please Yao and Ron ... stay healthy.

    100% playoffs > 100% regular season > 100% practice > 100% preseason

Tmac always like to screw up team chemistry with the injuries..doesn't he? I don't get it....i mean Yao had surgery...right?? And he healed pretty quick. Why is Tmac taking this long??? I mean Yao even play in the Olympics. I am started to wonder if Tmac actually take care of his body during the off summer time or did he make it worst by not being careful with his body???

Yao is just as much of a girl as T-Mac is.

This really is getting old.

You should not argue with players wanting to rest. Come on, we're already one of the most injury-plagued team in the league. I'd rather have them rest and be healthy than continue to play with reoccuring and nagging injuries.

Damn, obviously it is a bad news. Everybody wants to have healthly T-Mac and right now his knee isn't ready yet.

It was his first surgery in his life so he really doesn't know what to expect. He wants to play, he knows this team is so great but only with him in the lineup and if we want to win it all we have to have 100% McGrady, Yao and Ron.

But one thing we don't want to happen is to rush. McGrady may start the season even if he is not 100%, but than the results may be a lot worse. He may go out with the same injury for a longer stretch and it would be probably the biggest dissapointment.

We need to have 100% T-Mac. He needs to have fun playing. So maybe it is better to give him rest for those first few games than lose him later for the entire season...

Truth! I'll take 8th seed if thats what it means for a healthy team 82 games later.

Man that PO game would be fit for WC (Lakers or Hornets vs a healthy Rockets, OMG)

I know right? I mean, Yao only missed what? Like half a regular season and playoffs. And McGrady decides to miss damn opener of regular season?? I hate McGrady so much right now, anyone who misses preseason and regular season deserves to be traded to the Knicks and end their careers there. I know Yao gets injured, but at least he misses playoffs only, not preseason.

Rest for half a season I don't care as long as we make the playoff spot and get it all done this season!

Oh my lordy lordy. This sounds bad. I'm never drafting T-Mac in my fantasy leagues.

This doesn't worry me, its better to start the season 100% rather than like 90% and then get injured but we got artest now so i wouldn't worry

We never know what to expect from him. He is always contradicting himself when he speaks. I guess we could just wait it out.
